Chapter 2: Dinner

Your POV (Still a Monday)

School is finally over. School has always been like torture but for some reason I'm looking forward to the rest of school. What in the name of Irene is happening to me?

It happened when Vylad showed up.

What did he do to me?

I snapped out of my thoughts when he approached me.

"Hey, you wanna come over for dinner?"
"Dinner? Is it okay?"
"Okay? HA! My parents adore you. And so does Garroth."

Vylad mumbled the last part. Unfortunately, I heard what he had mumbled.

Garroth adores me? Isn't he head over heels for Aph?

Vylad and I made our way to his house. On our journey, we talked about stuff like why he transferred. Getting into O'khasis Prep is hard.

Alas, we arrived. Vylad opened the door, revealing Zianna. When she saw me, she instantly hugged me. Heh, I guess I know where Vylad gets his hugging trait from.

"Y/N! It's so great to see you! I suppose your here for dinner?"
"It's great to see you too. Yap! Vylad had invited me."

I smiled. Zianna is such a wonderful person. I don't know how she's able to smile even in her darkest moments like Vylad.

I heard a ping. Food's ready. Vylad and I sat down at the dining table. I saw Garroth and Zane at the stairs at the corner of my eye. Zane glared at me when he saw me. Garroth on the other hand waved. I waved back.

Zianna set the food on the table. We began eating.

Man, dinner was amazing! Zianna's cooking has definitely improved since I last ate here. Which isn't too long ago. It's sad that Garte isn't here.

I felt something grabbing me. It was Vylad. He was holding my arm, dragging me upstairs. We went into his room and sat at the foot of his bed.

"How's school with me around?"

He teased. I playfully punched him.

Out of the blue, Zane came in.

"Ugh, is hiding the fact that your crushing on a girl a trait in the family?"

Zane says. Vylad was shooting daggers at him. Zane laughs.

"What?"

I asked. I was really confused.

What is Zane talking about? Why is Vylad shooting daggers at Zane? I don't understand!

Zane saw my confusion and left the room, laughing maniacally. I turned to Vylad, asking what Zane meant. For some reason, Vylad's face was red.

He's blushing. Cute. Wait cute? What!?

"I don't know what he meant. Sorry"
"Mmmhmm. I guess I should be leaving. I don't want to worry my mom."
"Right. See you tomorrow, not-alone buddy."

I smiled and left the room. I went downstairs and thanked Zianna for the meal. With that, I made my way home.

Heya! Hope ya hoping the story so far. Quick question, on a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate Vylad in general? Mine would be beyond 10. Cause his fucking amazing. Right?
