Chapter 8: I love you

Your POV

I'm trying to sleep. It's currently midnight. Vylad is fast asleep. I didn't know what to do. I grabbed my phone. To my surprise, the Wi-Fi was still on.

Zane is probably awake, I thought. I texted him. I was right. He is awake.

Y/N: Hey, you awake?
Z: Yeah, what's up.
Y/N: Mind if I come to your room? I can't sleep.
Z: Sure.

I stood up. I looked at Vylad. His so adorable. Wait. What?! Fuck you Vylad! I went to Zane's room.

"Yo."

He said.

"Starting a conversation, I see. Good to know."

I replied, smiling. I asked what he was doing. He showed me his phone. Oh, he was watching My Little Horsie. I watched beside him.

"How come you can't sleep?"

Zane asks, breaking the silence between us.

"Vylad. He did something I hate him for. At least I think I hate him. I can't be sure."
"What he do?"

Zane asks. I hesitated. Should I tell him? Zane can be such a tease sometimes.

"I won't tell, I promise. I'll buy you pizza if I tell."
"Okay, you had me at pizza. He. Kissed me."
"What?!?!"

Zane bursts out. I shushed him. The last thing I need is for anyone to be awake. Zane continued speaking.

"He kissed you there but not in the game?! The fuck is wrong with him?!"
"How the fuck am I supposed to know? Maybe he was shy. We discussed about this tod-- yesterday."
"Yesterday?"
"It's midnight."
"Oh."

I stayed in Zane's room, talking with him for what seemed like an hour. However in reality we talked for almost 4 hours.

To be honest, I didn't realise that I was capable to make friends with Zane within a course of a day. He said that I was like his first real friend.

'Real'. I didn't know that he was able to make 'fake' friends but not 'real'. How does he do it?!

"Zane, what time do you usually sleep?"
"If there's school the next day, I'll sleep at around 9PM. But if there isn't, it depends if I'm tired."
"We have so much in common. It's kinda scaring me."

I replied, having a scared look on my face. Zane began laughing. I joined in.

It's 5AM now. Zane looks tired.

"Zane? I think I'll let you sleep now. You look tired."
"Huh? Oh, okay. Night."
"Night. See you in the morning."

I turned off the lights and went to Vylad's room. When I entered the room, I was shocked to see the lights on and Vylad on his phone.

"Hey, Vylad."
"Hmm? Oh, hey. Were you with Zane?"
"Yeah, his currently sleeping."

I replied. Vylad didn't reply back. I went and lie down beside him.

"What ya watching?"

I asked. I accidentally scared him which made him fall off his bed.

"You okay?"
"Y-Y-Yeah. It hurts but I experienced worse."

He looked to the floor. My instincts kicked in. I hugged him.

"Don't think about the past, Vylad. It's not good if you stick to the past and not the present."

I said. I kissed his cheek. Why? I don't fucking know why. Maybe it's caused by my stupid fucking instincts.

Vylad jumped in surprise. I apologised. He cupped my face and kissed me back, passionately if I might mention. I, of course, returned the kiss.

We stayed like this for couple of minutes. When we're done with our little make out session, Vylad pressed his forehead against mine.

"Y/N...I-I-I love you..."

Vylad confesses. I didn't say anything, I just blanked out. He noticed this and continued talking.

"The reason why I kept bothering you was because you were different. When we were getting adopted, I told you that we would meet again."

Vylad, the romantically corny, Ro'Meave.

I yawned. Vylad noticed it and looked at me puzzled.

"*yawn* Sorry i haven't really *yawn*..."

Then I passed out. Great. Wonderful, me. I'm such a fantastic person.

Hallo. Is wat my older sis usually says. For me its hOi or waddup. Anyway, I made Vylad romantically corny cause he is, apparently. Not sure if he actually is but Cole says it. And I trust him. If you dont know whose Cole, I'll be so mad.

The day when Vylad is no longer romantically corny is the day I stopped fangirling over him. I mean, what's the odd to that? Negative a million to the biggest cake?
