Chapter 2

Daesung hyung and I went back to the same place where we were originally hanging out. As soon as I entered the room, Jiyong hyung, Taeyang hyung and Seunghyun hyung immediately stood up.

"Wow... that's quite the change." Taeyang hyung said.

"See? I was right, wasn't I?" Jiyong hyung boasted.

Seunghyun hyung on the other hand circled around me to see every single thing that Daesung hyung did to me. Of them four, Seunghyun hyung's opinion is the one that I'm least anticipating. I feel intimidated with him. There are this nervous feelings that's surfacing whenever he goes near me.

"Daesung knows too well. This new appearance of yours demonstrates your true attractiveness. Do you like it?" Seunghyun hyung finally said. Well I wasn't expecting that. I was thinking that maybe he'd criticize me.

"N-ne hyung... I still can't believe it." I stuttered.

"Me neither." he said bluntly. "After all, until a moment ago, I was still against the idea of hiring you as our concept model.

"M-mo...del?" well, what the hell am I getting myself into?

"All this time, Jiyong has been looking for a model for Peaceminusone. And, finally, he found his ideal man... You."

My heart skipped a bit at Seunghyun hyung's word. Why am I being so weird today? Why am I having such reactions at these words? I really shouldn't be feeling this way.

"Me... a model?" I asked again incredulously.

"As a runway model, your height and body type would be out of the question." he continued. "What we want to ask you is to be the concept model for Peaceminusone Clothing Co. We're not looking for exceptionally tall, skinny or obvious beauty. For Peaceminusone, We need someone who is a regular, everyday guy. Don't get me wrong, it's a compliment."

I can't seem to absorb everything that Seunghyun hyung was saying. I feel like I am already being oriented on the job that I wasn't even able to accept or decline.

"At first, I was against this idea of Jiyong. But, seeing you, I've changed my mind. You might reallybe the right one for us. This is all so sudden-.". Again, he just continued on telling me things that I don't even want to understand but he was cut offed by a very beautiful girl with long brown locks.

"Ohh! What a handsome new face at the at the atelier!" she came running up and to my surprise, she hugged me.

"U-uhm..."

"Chaelin, we're working here. Please don't bother us." Seunghyun hyung scolded.

"Geez oppa, You're so mean!" the girl said. Oh, so she was Seunghyun hyung's little sister. Or an assistant maybe? She was very bright and cheerful. A  complete opposite of Seunghyun hyung who was sullen and seems to be in pain all the time.

"Oppa, is he the new model for Peaceminusone?" Chaelin asked.

"Ne..." Seunghyun hyung answered simply.

"Hmm... He's a Little different than I expected, but I like him! Hey, what's your name?"she asked me all of a sudden.

"U-uhm... my name is Seungri." I stuttered. 

"Seungri! My name is Lee Chaelin. I think I really like you!" she said in full smiles. "If you're Peaceminusone's model, I think everyone will like it even more! Nice to meet you Seungri!"

"Y-you too..." I answered. She overwhelms me. She's a bit too much for me.

"Chaelin, we have a contract to sign with him now. Please leave." Seunghyun hyung told her. Wait what? Who's signing a contract?

"A contract..." I can't help but murmur.

"We'll sign you up with my agency from now on." Seunghyun hyung said while handing out his business card.

I doubled over when I read the card. Seunghyun hyung is the CEO of  a model agency? I thought he was the CEO of Peaceminusone?

"This must all be a bit of surprise for you. That being said, Seunghyun hyung's company is big. I promise you, it'll be okay." Daesung hyung said reassuringly.

"B-but..." I tried to speak but Jiyong hyung interrupted me.

"What? Are you still dissatisfied about something?" he asked.

"A-ani... Well, models get their photos taken right? If someone I know sees those photos, they'll know its me." I tried to explain.

"Well, after my hair styling and Taeyang hyung's photography, I'm not quite sure about that." Daesung hyung said.

"From your appearance, you seem to be an office worker. If it's inconvenient with your company to know about this, I'll make arrangements." Seunghyun hyung said.

To that, I can only look down. Things are going around me so fast. One time I was tearfully walking away from that Spa that was close on the day that I was scheduled to get my massage and then the next thing, I am being offered a contract that God knows no one can decline? How did I get entangled in this huge company?

"Seungri-ya, chances like this only comes once in a lifetime. We have no time to waste. Either you're doing this or not. Take this opportunity that will change your life forever or go back to living your life as it's been until now." Seunghyun hyung said in one breath. He's really blunt, direct and straight to the point. It scares me to have a boss like him.

"Mianhae, Seungri-ya. This guy's a bit of an emotionless robot. But, really, do you think you can accept the job? Of course we will all support you the best we can." Daesung hyung tried to offer.

"Seungri, if you're on the edge, why not take a leap of faith? I'll always be there to lend you an ear and a helping hand, if you want me to." Taeyang hyung added. Of them four, I feel like I can only connect to Taeyang hyung. Meeting the four already started weirdly. They gave me this girlish feelings that I wasn't suppose to feel. Above them, I can feel a connection with Taeyang hyung.

"Please, Seungri. I've been looking for you for a long... long time." Jiyong hyung pleaded. Okay scratch everything I said about Taeyang hyung. Jiyong hyung gives me the weirdest feelings I really shouldn't feel. His words are... it goes directly somewhere... somewhere inside me that hasn't been visited for so long. "Both Peaceminusone and I really need you."

See? That's Jiyong hyung for you.

Am I really fit for this job? Have I ever wanted something so bad before?

If Jiyong hyung will be there to support me... I want to change. I want to say goodbye to my old self and find... the new me.
