"Alright, we're going to have to get to the coast. I want all of you to get behind me and catch any that slip past me. We are the only ones capable of stopping our home from being sunk. Are you ready!"

"Yeah!" The men threw their fist high in the air. Everyone got ready. They got their tools, and weapons and got in position. Scallaban ran head first towards the coastline. He knew that sea imps always enjoyed coming in on an incline. He took the blade out of its scabbard and prepares himself.

Sea imps must keep moving or else they will collapse and die. If I can disrupt their organs with my blade that will cause them to die instantly. But I must strike the head, that is the only way. Crushing them would also work, but we don't have too many cannon balls for that.

He looks out over the horizon waiting for the enemy to come forth. Scallaban doesn't move a muscle as he patiently idols on the coastline. He looks at how calm the sea is, he sees it gently move along past his field of vision. He looks all around and sees no sign of approaching danger. He starts to think that maybe all of what he did was for nothing.

"Scallaban! Look!" Scallaban quickly turns to the sea once more to see it moving about rapidly. He then soon witnesses a large wave in the distance.

"Men! Get ready!" All the men aim their weapons towards the sea, as Scallaban readies his sword. "Fire!" Shouts Scallaban, with a voice that can be heard yards away. The men with their cannons aimed at the sea, fire at the approaching sea imps. The wave is hit directly with an onslaught of cannonballs. The wave begins to shrink.

It becomes smaller and smaller until it is twenty feet high. The sea imps separate, causing the wave to vanish.

The sea imps go for a new tactic and approach the land in spread apart from one another. Most of them go for Scallaban, but he strikes two at the same time, right through their liquid skulls. His numbers only growing with each swing. They collapse on the ground dead. The ones that dash past him are meet with explosives, cannonballs, falling trees, and more swords. Neither the men nor the sea imps show any sign of slowing down. In fact, they become quicker with their movements, by every passing minute. By every successful kill, The sea imps begin to get annoyed with Scallaban, as he wipes out most of the approaching hundreds. No more than twenty can slip past him in a pack of fifty.

As he focuses on the sea imps The blood imps begin to board the land. They have been steadily watching, as blood imps don't need to run endlessly to survive. Instead of dashing past him they begin to circulate around him.

"What!?"

More and more join in on the ambush. One by one they charge at him. Scallaban is struck by some but defeats more blood imps than there are wounds on his body. He gets more aggressive than they do,and it becomes very difficult to know who should actually be worried about the outcome of the battle.

"What's going on!?" Ask the boy. He views the situation from high up in the air. He receives no answer to his question, and so he decides to ask once more, awaiting the sound of the woman's voice.

"What's going on!? Can I help somehow!?" He waits for an answer as he floats in the sky. Then in the blink of an eye, he appears on the island, far away from Scallaban and his men. The boy begins to look around in a panic, knowing that he is now on the dangerous land. He is too frozen with fear to move. He wants to move, he tries to move--yet his body doesn't allow it. Trying to overcome this fear, the boy soon hears a sound coming from behind him. Turning around he saw a group of seven blood imps moving towards him.

They turn their heads to look at him. The boy tries his best to move, yet he is too frozen in fear to take even the slightest distance. The blood imps all rush at him. The boy lets out a blood curling scream. He tightly closes his eyes as he awaits his end.

He then quickly opens his eyes and sits up in his bed. Trying to catch his breath, he looks around his room.

"It was...A dream?" He falls back in bed, with his arm resting on his forehead--thankful that what he just saw was all in his head.
