So when I was little (4, I think) there was this moth that was living on the wall outside by our front door and it stayed there for like a week or something
And every time I saw it I would get so excited bc for some reason I thought it was my pet and pets need names obvi so I named it
Its name was Dylan
So I tell my mom that I had a pet moth named Dylan and was like "aww that's cute" and every time we saw it we'd be like  "hi Dylan"

But one day we came home and Dylan was gone, and I was CRUSHED. I asked my mom where he went, and she would tell me that he had to go back to his family, but we'd see him again
So whenever we would see a moth, she'd tell me it was Dylan coming back to say hello, and ever since then, we've called moths Dylan
Even to this day I call them Dylan

I know it's been like 12 years since I updated but life happened and things got really sucky and dealing with it has been tough but things are getting better (slowly but surely)

Fun fact: the Dylan story is actually true! I thought I had a pet moth when I was little, so I named it Dylan, and now whenever my mom & I see moths, we call them Dylan 💕
