Seokjin
I walked by a piano that was covered in thick dust, remembering that one time where I played too much with it that it angered father who said his ears were turning red from all the noise coming from it nonstop.
He threatened to throw it away if I ever do it again to which I told myself to never play the piano ever again until mother consoled me stating that the keys I tapped were lovely but to not play it when father's present.
I listened, only playing the piano whenever I was sure he's somewhere else. It was a pity though, he's been home more this month so I didn't have the chance to sit down and play with it.
Not that I didn't like him being home or anything like that. I strolled to the garden, slapping my forehead when I realised I had forgotten to bring down my flute along with me. I stomped down on the grass feeling annoyed.
Deciding that it's too much work to go back up to retrieve it, I continued on my way while thinking of other things I could do in the garden. I sat down on a marble bench, looking out at the tree branches waving around with its leaves.
I laid down, feeling a sense of freedom without the butler by my side for once as my mother would always have him follow me around claiming that it'd be too dangerous if I walked anywhere alone which I think is a load of bull, considering the place is heavily guarded.
For a while, I only stared at the blue sky accompanied by patches of fluffy clouds but soon, it got too boring and I got up, wanting to take a walk around since I haven't done that in a while.
Wondering around the large garden, I took in my surroundings that consisted of pink and yellow tulips and fruit trees growing nicely.
They definitely played a part in calming me down that's why I go to this part of the castle everytime I have too much things on my mind.
As I walked more and more, I found out that there were others parts in the garden that I have yet to venture before. It was no wonder to me since father didn't want me going off to far since I was small, scared that I might get hurt.
I laughed a little, feeling dumb that I only found out about this part of the palace when I'm already a grown person. It only made me curious.
Wanting to know what lies there, the places I have yet to check out. I was about to turn a corner when I heard rapid footsteps coming closer behind me.
I automatically spun around to see who it was. "There you are, Sir Seokjin" he gasped for air as he put his hands on his knees gasping for breath.
"Mister Park, why didn't you tell me there were parts of the garden that I haven't visited?" I asked. He looked at me with an odd expression, "How would I know if you didn't know about this place, sir?"
I was strucked, dumbfounded. He's right. "Anyway, sir your father is requesting to see you right now" he stated motioning his hand for me to go back. "Wait, I still have to see- " I was about to turn the corner until he tugged my arm.
"Sir, I'm afraid you'll have to do that later. Your father wants you to hurry back" he warned. I sighed, knowing that if I didn't listen to father's command I would be in trouble. "Alright take me there" I smirked.
He gave me a look before slightly smiling and lifted me on his back, going into the palace. See, my butler is the only one who'd smile but he rarely does it. For a week, I'd notice Mister Park smile maybe once, if lucky twice.
