Everything reminded me of Beauty and The Beast story mother used to read to me almost every week and I refused to take the risk of checking to see if it was real for I was having so much fun and I really did not want it to end.

It being real or not didn't matter to me the least bit. It was the first time in my life I was feeling so alive, that I didn't notice him coming.

"What is this noise?" father's voice boomed across the room. I was caught off guard by it and I instantly stopped playing, all the things also followed, falling onto the floor all at the same time, creating a noise so deafening I thought they were gonna break.

Father came marching into the hall in his robe and I looked at him with widened eyes, like how a kid knowing he got caught stealing a cookie would.

I stood there frozen, my mind unable to conjure up any excuse for me being downstairs at this time of the day. Before I could stutter out the words, the tin whistle was already snatched by father.

While father's back was turned, I could see that he had kept the instrument inside a drawer in a corner. When he turned around, I pretended I hadn't witness him hiding it.

He pointed at me and said, "We'll have none of this in my castle".  He called up Mister Park who came as quick as a lightning and told him to bring me upstairs who complied.

He held my arm as I let him lead me to my bedroom and I giggled, hearing father lashing out at the mess around him. "Now who made all this mess?!" I heard him shout at nothing.

I clasped my mouth and chortled. Mister Park even tucked me into my bed as if I was a little kid and I was touched by it. He was about to leave until I tugged on his arm. "Mister Park, thank you seriously, you've been there for me all my life more than father has"

At this, he threw a small smile and me. "You never told me your full name" I said expectantly. "It's Jimin, sir- Park Jimin"

His mouth curved up into a wider smile while saying it, I nodded as a response, half-asleep as I yawned. "See you in the morning sir" he spun around before switching of the lights and exiting my room.

That night, I fell asleep so peacefully that I thought I was going to have dreams of what I experienced but it wasn't. The dream was far different from what I thought I would have.

I had a dream where I stood in front of the statue, still in tact and it had me scratching my head because I was sure it had been broken down. The statue seemed to be pleading with me.

"Set me free, I beg you" he weeped. The last thing I heard him say was, "If you do not wake me tonight, I will remain stone for another one hundred years"

The dream was so vivid that I jolted awake, breaking in cold sweat, I tried going back to sleep but no matter how much I turned and tossed, it just wouldn't go away. I woke up and roughly ruffled my hair, irritated by it.

It was a silly thought but there was no harm that could be done if I listened to this dream right? I crept downstairs and slipped pass the castle guards who were dozing.
