After a long day of traveling Julie and her family made it to her Aunt's house in Ohio.

The stay there was quite comfortable and the fact that Julie got a home cooked meal after all the crap she had eaten in the car was amazing.

Her Aunt Kathy had a piano in her living room, she told Julie how her children used to play it.

Julie sat down and started to play a piece she had learned a while back.

"Why Julie! That sounds wonderful!" Her Aunt exclaimed.

"Thank you, my friend taught it to me," she replied.

It was true. One of Julie's good friends, Gabby had taught her it.

Gabby came from a family that was over protective and very traditional. That's how Gabby knew the piano.

Gabby's escape was the trumpet though, it had always been one of her passions and she could always just loose herself in the music.

Gabby had taught Julie a few pieces, her favorite to play though was A Drop In The Ocean by Ron Pope.

Earlier in the day, around noon, Julie had gotten a text message from Jason.

It read:

I hope you know a piece of my heart is on its way to Kansas City right now.

Julie had smiled at the text, knowing it was true.

The next day, Julie and her family left her Aunt’s house at noon and they would arrive in St. Louis late. They were going to stay at a hotel that night then finish their journey to Kansas City the following day.

All Julie did was read, listen to music and do assignments for her new school.

Okay, so school had just ended for her, but she wasn't going to wait until last minute to do them all, and it's not like she had anything better to do.

After about three hours of riding in the car to Kansas City, Julie put in her headphones and listened to music as she looked out the window of the car to try and see some landmarks that she could recognize.

An hour later Julie and her family pulled into a complex of houses.

Two minutes later they were pulling into a driveway already filled with two moving trucks.

"This is it honey!" Her mother squealed.

"Yay," Julie said dryly.

Her mother shot her a glare and exited the car.

Julie grabbed her backpack and single suitcase that was in the car and walked up to the house that already had the door open.

The house was gorgeous.

Hardwood flooring covered all of the ground floor with a velvety red color lining the walls. The stair case was white with wood steps. The stair case cascaded up to the next level which was out of sight.

"Julie! When you get up the stairs, make a left; your room is the second on the left," her father called.

Julie stalked up the stairs, her suitcase being dragged behind her.

The upstairs was just nice as the downstairs with perfectly white walls and polished hard wood floors lining the hallways.

Julie made a left at the top of the staircase; she peeked her head in the first door she saw which was on the right.

A large bathroom that had a retro like theme.

It had a teal like color toilet and bathtub. The walls were lined with white tiles and the floor was lined with black tiles and had a teal rug in the middle to match the toilet and bathtub.
