Chapter 8 - New Faces

We were walking back home to Konoha Village, Sakura was flirting with Saskue, Naruto was walking next to Kakashi and i was in my human form.

"Kakashi can i ask you a question?" I ask tugging slightly on his sleeve, he looks down and raises an eyebrow.

"Sure" he replied.

"What do you need to do to become an ANBU?" I ask tilting my head, Kakashi looks at me with a confused look.

"Well i guess you train really hard and hope the Hokage will let you" Kakashi says quite unsure as he was an ANBU at quite a young age.

I give him a confused look and nod my head in understanding.

We walked for a couple more hours, my stomach growls along with Naruto's, Kakashi hears.

"How about we rest here for a while" Kakashi implied, Me, Naruto, Sakura and Saskue all sat down next to a tree as Kakashi sits infront of us.

We sat there for a while, until i caught the smell of something or someone, i turn into my wolf form and walk into the woods.

"Shira where are you going?" Naruto asks as he watches me walk away.

"She can smell something so she is following the scent" Kakashi tells Naruto.

I continue to walk until i come across a lone deer, my eyes light up and i lay low against the ground, i watch the deer until the perfect time to strike.

I wait, and wait, and wait, then as the deer too one step forward, i leap out from where i was hiding and charge towards the deer with my teeth showing, the deer sees me and runs off, i follow it, it continues to run, i gained enough stamina to keep my running pace even, i caught up to the deer and pounced on it, it tried to squirm out from under me, i latched my jaw around it's throat, it screeched in agony as i tighten my grip, i feel it's body go limp , i release my grip and sit there breathing heavily.

'It's been a long time since i have done that'

'... that... was... AMAZING SHIRA!'

'All i did was hunt and take down a deer'

'I know, the elegance and grace, was flawless'

'Uhh thanks?'

I grab the deer by it's throat and drag it towards where the others were, i arrive and drop the deer infront of Kakashi.

"Shira... did you do this?" Kakashi asks wide eyed looking at the deer lying lifeless infront of him, i nod.

"I thought that you guys were hungry so i got food for you" i say with a closed eye smile.

Naruto, Sakura and Saskue look at me with wide eyes, Sakura clinged to Saskue's arm in fear as i walk towards them.

"Are you guys hungry?" I ask, they looked at me, then nodded their heads slightly, i give a toothy grin and walk back to my prey.

I turn into my human form and bring out a kunai, i stab the deer and start to skin it, once the deer was skinned i got a scroll and put the fur inside it.

"What are you going to do with the fur Shira?" Kakashi asks, i turn and look at him with a smile.

"It's a secret" i say with a slight smirk, the others got a shiver down there spine.

I then use the same kunai and divide the deer into little pieces, i half what i cut off and put it in a scroll for a later time, i turn back into my wolf form and collect the bones, i walk over to a tree and started to dig a hole.
