Chapter 14 - Where Are You Going Saskue?

We arrived at the memorial, there were flowers, gifts, everyone stood in silence as they say their farewells, I was standing next to Kakashi, we were all wearing black attire, I felt something land on my ear, I look up and it was raining, I felt a bit hit my eye so I rub my eyes, Kakashi looks down at me.

"A shinobi should never been crying" Kakashi says quietly, I hear what he says and look at him.

"I wasn't crying, a bit of water got in my eye, it was raining" I mumble, Kakashi chuckles a little, I look at him slightly confused.

"A friend of mine used to make up a similar excuse to that, he would say he got dust in his eyes when he wore goggles" He chuckled, I look at the ground as thought about who it might be then I remember seeing the names on the stone.

"Obito Uchiha..." I mumble quietly, Kakashi stiffened as he heard me mention his name, I look back up at Kakashi and he had tiny tears in his eyes, I flatten my ears and look down again "Sorry, I didn't mean to mention his name" I say quietly, I then felt Kakashi put his hand on my head and ruffle my hair.

"Its okay, I just didn't think you knew his name" He says looking at the Hokage's memorial.

*Timeskip To Later That Night*

I was strolling through the village as I couldn't sleep, I had so many thoughts going through my head, I just kept beating myself up about no being there for the Hokage, I continued to beat myself up when I saw a shadowy figure race in front of me, I snapped my head up and was an full alert, my ears flickered slightly, my tail swayed slowly, my eyes narrowed, I followed the footsteps.

I stealthily followed the footsteps, I then was about to attack when I heard a familiar voice...

"Saskue? What are you doing?" It was Sakura, what is she doing out here so late at night?

"Sakura, did you follow me here just to stop me?" Saskue says sternly as he had his back facing her, I made sure I listened VERY carefully.

"Y-Yes, are you leaving the village?" She asks slightly confused.

'Well nah Sakura! he has his backpack on for no reason! And he is walking to the gate to turn around and come back again!'

'Alright Shira calm down, you're kind of shouting and I am trying to sleep'

'Oh... Sorry Zodiac'

"Yes Sakura, I am leaving" Saskue says without a sign of regret, my ears pick up a slight quiver from Sakura.

"Saskue, please don't leave! I love you!" Sakura says blushing like a mad man, I mentally face palm.

'Well done Sakura for making thing freaking awkward!'

'QUIET!'

'Sorry Zodiac'

Saskue was silent "Saskue, if you leave I will scre-" before Sakura could finish her sentence, Saskue appeared behind her, Sakura had tears flowing down her face.

Saskue whispered something into Sakura's ear which I could just about hear "Thank you" Sakura's eyes widen "Thank you for everything" and with that Saskue hit a pressure point in Sakura's neck and she fell unconscious, I watch as Saskue picks her up and puts her on a near by bench.

As Saskue was about to leave I appear in front of him with my bangs in front of my eyes, Saskue froze as he saw me.

"Where do you think your going?" I spoke, I saw Saskue jump slightly to my voice, was he scared of me?

"I need to seek power, I need to become stronger so I can kill a certain someone" Saskue says quietly, I raise my head and glare at him.

"So you decide to knock out one of your team mates, wait wrong phrase, friends to go and get power? What happened to training with friends huh? Do you really want to go there?" I said sternly, Saskue just looked at me.

"Yes, I need to do this Shira, and you cant stop me, you don't know what its like, to have a family member kill your clan" he says slightly raising his voice, I processed what he said and I let out a low growl.

"Actually, Duckbutt I DO know what its like, its just that I never really speak about it" I say looking down at the ground, Saskue tilts his head as a sign of me to continue.

I just look at him and don't say anything, he took a step forward and I just appear in front of him and pin his arm behind his back, I heard him wince slightly.

"Saskue, you do realise that if you leave, there will be a search party to bring you back right?" I growl.

I never really liked Saskue, but when it came to my friends being hurt, I would do anything to help them, even if it involves killing someone.

"Shira, can you do me a favour?" He whispers in slight pain as I tighten my grip, I tilt my head for him to continue "Can you make sure that Naruto's dream comes true..." He trails off, I release him and he turns around to face me.

"Why cant you stay here and help him make that dream come true? Instead of getting power for revenge? What if your revenge was a bad choice? What if you were wrong about that person? How would you feel then?" I questioned.

Saskue fell silent, he hesitated, he was thinking of an answer.

"I guess we will find out after I have taken my revenge" he says slowly, he had the tone of regret in his voice which wasn't noticeable.

He turns around and walks away, I watch at he walks out the gates, I walk to the gates and watch as his silhouette disappears in the ibis of darkness.

I turn around and make my way back to a tree, but then I remember that Saskue had knocked Sakura out and put her on a bench, so I go back and pick her up on my back and run to her house.

Her balcony door was unlocked so I quietly walked in and put her in her bed, I made sure that she had her teddy bears and pillows near so she could snuggle them.

As soon as she rolled over and cuddled one of her pillows I left her room and closed the door behind me, I headed towards a house which I knew and knocked on the door.

The door opened and Hinata was there in her pajamas, she saw.me and welcomed me in.

"Hey Hinata sorry about coming her so late" I said sadly, Hinata started shaking her head.

"No no its okay, you look freezing, would you like to sleep over tonight? Kind of like a sleepover." She says handing me a blanket with a sweet smile, my eyes light up.

"Uhh what's a sleepover?" I asks, Hinata's face had the look of disbelief written all over it.

"A sleep over is where friends stay over night or a couple of days" She explained, I nod my head in agreement.

So I slept over Hinata's that night.

'So this is what its like to have a caring best friend?'

'Shira, for the last time, BE QUIET or I will go on a rampage!'

'S-Sorry Zodiac, it wont happen again'
