Chapter 18 - The First Exam (Part 2)

I had been searching for that lazy Nara for 3 hours! 3 hours!? How can it be so hard to find someone! I mean how hard is it to find someone with a pineapple hairstyle!

"SHIKAMARU! WHERE ARE YOU?!" I scream, I get weird looks from nearby villagers "SHIKAMA-"

"Shira, stop shouting, troublesome woman"

I turn around to see that exact Nara I was searching for, he was carrying a clipboard and other stuff

"Shikamaru... Do you know how long I was trying to find you!" I say with a raised voice, he sighs and starts to walk away "Hey! Where are you going?"

"To the first place the exams are being held, I mean where else would I go?" He says.

"Oh i don't know, under a tree asleep? Stare at the clouds wishing you were one? Avoid loud troublesome people? Go find Choji?" I tease, he glares at me and I laugh.

"Sometimes I regret having you around" he teases back "You know way to much"

"Ha! You got to admi- WAIT! YOU REGRET HAVING ME AROUND! WHAT'S ALL THAT ABOUT!" I yell, he chuckles and walks away "HEY WAIT I'M SUPPOSED TO BE HELPING YOU!"

"Really?" He questions.

I run to catch up and I nod my head.

"Uh huh" I say smiling, he nodded and continued to walk next to him.

We finally made it to where the first exam was going to be held, I saw a familiar face, it was emotionless.

"Hey Sai" I wave with a smile, he waves and smiles back.

"Hey Shira, how have you been? Are you here to help?" He asks, I nod my head.

"Uh huh, I am here to help out! I am also very good thank you! What about yourself?" I smile.

"I am good! I have been busy lately with helping Ino in the flower shop, and now with these Chunin exams" he says with a smile.

We chat for a while, catching up from when I was gone.

"Hey are going to stand there and chat or are you going to help?" Shikamaru questions, I nod and help put up these boxes with cloth around them.

After we made the boxes, something unexpected happened.

"Shira"

"Yeah"

"Do you think you can turn into a wolf and dig a massive hole right down to the oil?"

"uh sure"

"Thank you" Shikamaru smirks, I see it and growl slightly but chuckle as I walk away.

I turned into a wolf and began to dig a hole which was 10 meters by 10 meters, it took for ever, but I managed to finish it.

We were allowed to go, so I stayed in my oil covered wolf form and made my way to Hinata's house.

I scratch at the door and Himawari answers and sees me, her eyes widen.

"Mamma! There's a wolf at the door!" She cries, Hinata came to the door and her eyes widened then she started laughing.

"Oh my Shira-Chan, you seem pretty dirty, how about you go to the garden and I clean you up with the hose?" She laughed, Himawari laughed.

"Can I help mama?" Hinata nodded and Himawari giggled and followed us to the garden.

We made it to the garden, there was a blossom tree, a pond filled with different coloured koi, a bench and a massive space to play around in.

I was too interested in the garden that I didn't notice Hinata and Himawari get the hose's, I turn around to see what they are doing.

My eyes widened, my tail curled under my legs, my ears flattened.

Hinata and Himawari were standing there, holding two hose's, smiling! It was terrifying!

I gulp...

We stood there, staring at each other, waiting for one of us to take the first move, the tension was high, the pressure was immense.

I took one step forward, and cold water covered me in an instance, I start to shiver, Hinata then walks up to me with a sponge and a bucket of water.

And to make matters worse...

Himawari came bounding towards me with... Combs, brushes, bows, nail vanish and make up...

'This is just great...'

'Have fun kid, I'm going to watch and enjoy you get pampered'

'This is not being pampered! This is torture!'

'Ha ha! Have fun kid'

It had been the worst half an hour ever, I hate having a bath, I hate being pampered and I hate wearing bows and make up most of all.

Once Hinata and Himawari had finished "Cleaning" up, I looked at myself in a tiny mirror Himawari had brought out...

I almost fainted...

I looked absolutely ridiculous...

Anyways, I made my way inside, in my human form of course, and made my way upstairs.

I went into the bathroom and washed off the make up, tried removing the nail vanish, but it wouldn't budge, it was a pretty colour, it was a deep grey, so I decided to keep the nail vanish.

I made my way back downstairs and told Hinata that I was going to bed, I made my way back upstairs and went to bed.

The next morning, I rushed out the house, quickly and quietly, as I was late to meet Shikamaru and Sai at the first exam location.

I eventually made it, everyone was there, proctors and Genin, I sigh with frustration and stand next to Shikamaru.

Shikamaru then, says something about a book series, I knew the answer as I have read that book series, when everyone had chosen their spots in the boxes with cloth around them, the cloth then revealed the answer and it was a draw, it was both correct and wrong.

The floor then disappears underneath the Genin and they fell down the hole, I watch with anticipation as i see Genin clamber out the hole, either completely fine, or completely covered in oil.

Do you want to know the funny part?

All the proctors were allowed to spray the Genin with a hose to clean them off! I had never been so happy in my life! Listening to all the pansy girls scream as I ruin their hair and clothes, and watch the boys run away.

When that was over I stood on the podium.

"Okay, my name is Shira Kimiashi, I am the proctor assistant for the next round, now if you would please follow me to the second Exam" I say with a raised voice, the Genin nodded and followed me to where the second exam was being held.

'I cant wait to see these runts fight!'

'Me too, this will be interesting!'

'Right, you bring the popcorn and I will bring the drinks!'

'Done!'

'Yes! Lets do this!'

And with that we arrived at the second exam...
