Chapter 16 - How Much Have I Missed?!

*Timeskip 10 Years*

(okay so a quick summary before I continue this contains spoilers; Naruto came back with Pervy Sage and a young lady named Tsunade, Tsunade became the 5th Hokage for a couple of years, I became her assistant along with Shizunae, there was a war between the undead and the living, after the war Kakashi became the Hokage for another couple of years, I was on a special ANBU mission for a couple of years, and whilst I was away Naruto became Hokage and Saskue had returned to the village)

I was returning back from my mission, I leapt from tree to tree, avoiding hidden traps the Hidden Leaf had placed for enemy ninja, I was covered in bruises and scrapes from the previous battle I was in, I was on full alert, I could see the main gate about a mile away, I picked up the pace.

I arrived shortly after picking up the pace, I walked through the gates and my jaw dropped... The village had changed so much, there were television screens outside which was showing an interview with the Hokage which was Naru- WAIT?! NARUTO?! HOKAGE?! WHAT?! WHEN?! HOW?! WHY?!

I was so confused until I looked up and saw the stone faces, there were the 1st Hokage, 2nd Hokage, Gramps, Tsunade, Kakashi...., and then Naruto...

How long was I gone for?! I looked around and then my eye cause a very familiar pinkette, my eyes widen.

"Sakura!" I yell, she turns around and her eyes widened, she had the look of relief and happiness written all over her face

"Shira!" She yelled back.

We ran towards each other and gave each other a massive hug, tears of joy and happiness fell from Sakura's eyes and she began to hug me tighter, I chuckled and hugged her tighter.

"You're back! I- um I mean we missed you so much! Do you know how long I have waited for you to return! I thought you were dead!" She says releasing her hug and looking very worriedly at me, I let out a chuckle.

"I mussed you guys way too much, I felt home sick, I cant stay away from this place" I laugh, Sakura laughed as well.

We stood in the center of the Village and spoke for a LONG time.

"So, Shira I have some new to tell you" Sakura started, I nod my head "Me and Saskue..." She paused, my eyes widened as I had a funny feeling what she might say "Me and Saskue, are married and have a kid" she finished, I tried so hard to hold in my fan girl scream but it escaped.

"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKK!!!! Ohmygoshimsohappyforyouguys!!!!" I squealed, Sakura covered her ears of how loud I was.

"Okay okay calm down" She laughed, "Naruto is probably worried sick, you better go see him" she says smiling, I nod my head.

"Hai, we will catch up later yeah?" I question, Sakura nods her head, I smile and run to the Hokage's Tower.

I arrived at the Hokage Tower, I didn't go through the door... I went in through the window, I scrambled my way through the window to see 2 people staring at me, one was a wide eyed Nara and the other was a tired looking Uzamaki.

"Oh er I should have gone through the door..." I trailed, the boys just stared in disbelief

"S-Shira?! You're back!" Naruto yells standing up from his desk, I smile and wave.

"Shira, long time no see" the Nara spoke, I nodded my head.

"It has been a while hasn't it Shadow" I chuckle, Shadow was the nickname I gave him before I left the village.

"Was the mission a success?" Naruto asks out of curiosity.

"Yep, I completed it, a success, everything is A Okay" I laugh, Naruto sighed in relief and sat back down.
