Chapter 13 - What Is Going On!?

I followed after Saskue as he chased the sand siblings, I was in so much deep thought it was unreal, I jumped from branch to branch, I felt my legs start to ache as they hadn't recovered from my Taijutsu match against Hinata, she may not look like it, but oh my gosh she can punch.

I managed to pick up Saskue's scent from up ahead, I picked up the pace, I could see his silhouette.

'Saskue and Gaara's match is over... Why is Saskue going after him? Does he want to continue the match? No... There's gotta be a different reason'

I finally managed to catch up with Saskue, he had a weird look in his eye, it wasn't his normal 'Oh I'm a emo' look it was 'I am gonna kill someone' look.

"Saskue, what the hell are you doing! Your match is over with Gaara!" I yell as I try and catch up with his pace, Saskue didn't reply he just continued jumping from branch to branch, I released a small growl and raced off ahead towards the Sand Siblings.

I struggled but managed to catch up with Tamari and the others, my legs felt as if they could break off any minute, but that didn't stop me, I got closer to them and noticed that Gaara looked different, he had a tail, one half of him looked like Shikaku the one tailed beast.

"Tamari! Where are you going?" I yell, she turns her head and she looks determined, she then looks away then picks up her pace, I sigh and continue to follow them.

Then as the Siblings were about to proceed to continue, Gaara gets out of Tamari and Konkaro's grip and turns around, I stop in my tracks and see that he hadn't fully controlled Shikaku.

I saw a quick glimpse of Gaara's human eye and I could see that he wanted help, so I tried to talk to him...

"Hey Gaara, its me Shira... Do you remember me?" I call out, Gaara snarls and shows his teeth, I sigh "Gaara, you need to calm down, I'm not going to hurt you" I say calmly, I could see his human side try and calm down but the other side didn't.

The sand in Gaara's gourge came flying out and raced towards me, I dodge out the way but the sand grips my arm, I try and get my arm out but it wouldn't budge, I could feel the sand tightening, I let out a little yelp, I look over to where Tamari and Konkaro were but I couldn't see them...

'Where would they be?'

'I don't know, but if you stay there, your arm will be completely crushed'

'I know that! I'm thinking!'

It was useless I couldn't think of anything, I was about to give up when something kicked Gaara, the sand disappeared, I clenched my arm in pain, I look to see what hit him and I see Naruto and Saskue holding a kunai, then Sakura arrives, when did she follow? Well at least team 7 is all together.

Naruto and Saskue start to fight Gaara, I was helping Sakura distract Gaara as the guys attacked, Gaara then used his sand and pinned Sakura to a tree and began to tighten, I jump up where Sakura is and try to take the sand away but it wouldn't budge, I jump down and begin to run in a direction away from Sakura.

'What are you doing?! Sakura needs help!'

'I know that just watch!'

As i continue to run Gaara notices and runs towards me and the sand around Sakura loosens, the sand still pinned her but it was now detached, I let out a sigh of relief and continued to run.

The fight between Gaara, Naruto, Saskue and I lasted a long time, Saskue was resting on a tree holding his shoulder because of his curse mark, Naruto wasn't giving up and I had been thrown into a tree.
