Somehow the soaking wet, crazy space man ended up in Padmé's office with her. He had informed her, so far, that a man had mysteriously burned his skin, without him knowing.
Padmé wasn't sure how someone could injure you like that without you knowing, and she also was confused with what he meant by 'burns' -- (like, with fire? It was an uncommon crime, but possible, she guessed) -- but then again, all this was very strange to her.
After much bickering back an forth between the two, Padmé finally said, "I'll think about it! Okay? Wait a while, I'll think about it, and then I'll decide what to do with your case."
The man seemed to be okay with that, especially after she had practically yelled at him about it. He just nodded in agreement and was quiet after that.
Padmé sat down at her desk, sighing deeply and putting her fingers to her temple and forehead, closing her eyes.
"Uh.... miss?" said the man again. He was supposed to be gone by now.
"What?" Padmé snapped.
The man stepped back a little, closer to the office door. "I don't have anywhere to stay." He paused, and Padmé stared at him, showing no sympathy. "I'd hate to disturb you anymore --"
Padmé snorted.
Anakin Skywalker continued nonetheless. "But if you could just -- for a little bit until I find somewhere to stay --"
Padmé crossed her arms, looking at him with a skeptical look on her face.
"Fine."
