Dipper's POV
I woke up, like any ordinary summer day. I put on my jeans, a reddish-orange T-shirt, a blue sweatshirt, and of course my pine tree hat. Then, went downstairs to see Mabel.
"Oh good, you're awake," said my mom from the kitchen.
"She said she has to tell us something!" Cheered Mabel, with a mouth full of cereal.
"Gross Mabel! Don't talk with your mouth full," I gagged. She just laughed it off.
"Well, your father and I decided to send you back to Gravity Falls for the summer," my mom said before Mabel made a sound that only dogs should hear. She screamed so loud I think I went deaf.
"OMG ARE YOU SERIOUS, MOM!!!" Mabel yelled. "YOU BETTER NOT BE MESSING WITH US!"
"I'm being completely serious, sweetie."
"Well then we better start packing. When do we leave?" I asked while giving my mom a big hug.
"Whenever you two are ready," my dad said from the kitchen table.
"WELL C'MON DIP!!! WE GOTTA PACK!" Mabel screeched as she pulled me up to our room.
"I'm coming, I'm coming," I said, trying to calm her down.
Later That Day
We had finished packing, said goodbye to our parents, and were on the bus heading to the Mystery Shack.
"I still can't believe that we're actually going back to Gravity Falls!" Mabel exclaimed for the hundredth time.
"Yep. We're going back home," I whispered.
The rest of the car ride was pretty boring, Mabel slept basically the whole time. I, on the other hand, couldn't fall asleep. I mean, it's been four years since we were last in Gravity Falls. Who knows how much everyone has changed.
My thoughts were interrupted by the bus coming to a sudden stop. This made Mabel wake up and we both noticed a sign that read, 'Welcome to Gravity Falls.'
Mabel didn't miss a beat. She jumped up and began to great everyone outside. And when I say everyone, I mean everyone. I think the whole town showed up just to see the arrival of me and Mabel.
Of course Mabel left me with all the bags, so I slowly made my way off the bus. However, I didn't make it three steps before being tackled by the whole town.
"Dipper!" Called Stan and Ford at the same time. They both gave me and Mabel a huge hug. I sure did miss them.
"Look how much you've grown! You must be taller than me now!" Ford said measuring me with his hand.
"And look at all that muscle! That's my boy," Stan complimented.
That's basically how all the greetings went. The same three phrases over and over again. Although, one person did stand out from the rest, Pacifica. She really did change. She wasn't the same brat she once was four years ago. We did stay in contact over the years but texting somebody is different than seeing them in person.
"Dipper! Wow, you really look... different," she said sweetly.
"Good different?" I asked with a smirk.
