Amiyrah's preview.

Amy! Amy! Amy! Screams getting louder from the dormitory to hallway. It was our last day of university and being in Turkey as well. Papers flying all over, as we celebrated our last moments together before parting ways.

Coming from a religious family was something I always hated. Following the rules and regulations was a priority. I was definitely going to miss all the fun I had from the start till date.

A sudden shake from the backside pulled me out of my drowning thoughts, sinking back into crowd of people as I switched on the music setting it on the highest pitch. Bringing in all sorts of drinks and junks to munch on.

"We are now officially graduates." Shouted Arman throwing his cap up in the air, followed by the rest of us. We all got drunk, danced and wiggled on all sorts of music.

It was almost 2.00 a.m when everyone was finally heading back to their respective rooms. I slowly walked making my way towards the room. Opening the door, as I stood scanning the room for the last time before I leave. Walking in, in an uncontrollable manner due to gulping down huge quantity of alcohol. I drop my almost dead body on the bed and fell deep asleep.

Phone rang constantly, when I finally decided to wake up and check on the caller. It was my dad, but why was he calling so early? "Hello dad." Forcing my voice to sound as fresh as an early bird, barely being able to open my eyes.

"Assalamualeikum Amiyrah, hope you have packed everything and ready to leave." Turning my eyes towards the clock besides the bed. It was 7 in the morning, and i had no classes to attend. "Pack? What are you talking about?" Rolling my eyes as I sat on the bed running my fingers through my hair.

"You will miss your flight Amiyrah!! What have you been up to??"

"damn!! I'll hang up. Catch ya later dad."

Hanging up the call as I immediately get off the bed heading for a quick shower. How could I forget about my flight. Quickly as I could, prepared everything, setting up my bed and cleaning off the room before leaving for the Airport.

Grabbing the keys to my room and stomping my feet down the stairways as i head towards the housekeeper, handing over the keys as I leave. The feeling of never wanting to leave was strong. Tears rolled over my cheeks as the car moved, as the sight of the house I stayed in fades away being vividly clear from the far end.

upon reaching the airport, i walked in scanning around the surroundings. There were plasma screens of arrival and departure times on the wall of the airport. People were lined up at the check in desk with suitcases and baggage. In the arrivals lounge there was a curious mixture of bored and excited people.

I walked with my luggage checking my passport once or twice. The steps that I took forward on those white silvery tiles of the airport terminal were trembling but I knew I had to move forward, leaving behind all the memories that had been attached to me. who knew i'd be leaving soon?.

I had almost sat for an hour, when my flight was finally announced. sadness flowed through my veins as i walked in to the plane and waited for it to depart. Students from my batch were happy to be finally going home, away from the boring life of studies, whereas In my case, it was the opposite. i was saddened by the idea of getting back home.
