Dutiful and good natured children who cast one loving and affectionate look at their parents, receive from The Almighty blessing equivalent to one approved Hajj (pilgrimage)." -(Muslim)
It was 10 in the morning, when mom opened the door to my room and walked in tapping on my shoulders "Amiyrah Assalamualeikum, wake up it's almost past 10, your dad has called in for you at the office."
"But mom!!..."
"No if's or but's, as it is your dad is very much angry with you." Continued Tapping on my shoulder, as she cut me off from completing my sentence."Why would dad be angry?, I've done nothing yet." Crumbling my face as i scratch my head and place it on her laps.
"You do realise you missed your Fajr swalah honey."
"Ahh come-on mom!! It was only fajr, what's the big deal in that?, and Yeh the next time you call me, be it Ammy and not Amiyrah!!!" Screaming on her face, as i stand up and make my way towards the bathroom.
It has never has been peaceful at this house, I slam the door behind me and open the tap to the shower. Quickly getting done with, and dressing up, I rush towards the dining room and grab a sandwich, making my way towards the car.
I definitely knew what my dad was about to get me on once I was at the office. But who cared? My life had two rules, live and enjoy.
"To the Asad's group of companies" directing the chauffeur as I got into the car."Yes ma'am"
I looked at my nails, they looked horrible and needed desperate manicure and pedicure. "Actually, let's first go to Betty's, I Can't stand seeing my nails in a bad condition."
"Yes ma'am"
I was almost done with my nails, when my phone buzzed under my white pants. Without wasting time, I reached towards it and picked up the call that was from dad. His impatience grew and asked me of my whereabouts. Handing over the money to Betty, as I rushed towards the car immediately and signalled the chauffeur to where I was heading to. Meanwhile I kept lying to dad, it was traffic that got me in time.
On my reach to the company, a good looking, tall, handsome and muscular man came to welcome me in. Showing me way to my dad's office like I'd never been here before. Dark eyes, brown silky hair and fair in complexion walked ahead of me in a full black suit and a dark blue tie. "Not bad." I murmured.
"Did you say Something ma'am?"
"Yes actually, mind if you could make your way to elsewhere?, thank you for the guide, but I know my way to Dad's office."
"Sure ma'am, but Mr Asad Has requested for my presence as well as yours at his office."
"Hmm...and what's your name?" I asked curiously as I walked through the offices to reach to the exact one.
"Aa'qib is my name." Introducing himself with a smile on his face.
"And what do you work as?"
"I'm the operations manager."
silly questions kept erupting in my head as we got into the elevator and reached the office. My dad's eyes shone through the glass door and widened as he stood up and questioned on my dressing.
"Assalamualeikum, what is this you have worn if I may ask? And where is your headscarf?
"Oh come-on dad, it's a white Calvin Klein jeans pant and a pink Versace top with laces."
"That's not an Islamic way of dressing..mind you, if i see you putting on such attires as of tomorrow, you will be grounded till you mend your ways!!!"
"Excuse me dad" I rolled my eyes "this is the modern world. We no longer live in the 90's"
Couldn't he tell me off privately without his employees being around. He put me off at times as to how he kept behaving, it's just been a day to my arrival, rest and what I will to do for a week should be my vacation.
Turning my face as I walk towards the window and stare at the busy streets, and cars passing by, when I suddenly saw a familiar face I'd seen before.
Narrowing my eyes to get a clear view of the man that just passed. I seemed to have recognize him, it was just quite hard to figure out how.
Lost in my deep thoughts, when a hand landed on my shoulder. "Amiyrah, I'm sorry but can we discuss as to why I have asked you to come over?" His face grew all pitiful, I couldn't stop by feel guilty as to how I behaved with him earlier.
"My main motive as to call you here was that you now need to learn and adapt to the situations of how this company works, and take over my position. Aa'qib will show you around." Tears formed in his eyes as he continued explaining. I cut him off midway as my curiosity grew. Why would he just yet hand over his company to me?.
"Don't you think it's too early dad? I just got back from university, I need a weeks time and a vacation too."
"Time is what I don't have habibty, I'm running out of time. As soon as I can train you, the better it will be for me and us as a family."
"Well, alright then, but it will be according to my timings. After that, you don't get to say a word to me. Deal?"
"I'm your father, I'm bound to care and worry about you. We will talk of that once we get home. As of now, your duty starts from today."

Late after arriving home from a tiring and hectic day, my phone rings and an incoming call displays Ayman. He was one of the coolest person I've ever been with.
"Hey! What of a surprise call?" I asked with a smile forming on my face.
"Girl! I got a good deal of stuff and having a party, interested to join?"
My eyes widened with delight. I finally found something that will help me get rid of my frustrations and exhaustion.
"Sure. Why not? Where Is it held at?" Speaking to him as I walk quickly over the stairs and head to my room to reach out for the clothes I'll be about to dress on with.
Pulling out a red and black knee length dress top and red boots with a black scarf.
"Near the mall on the 7th street."
"Cool, on my way!" I hung up the call and got into the changing room and changed into my clothing, a touch of make up and some musky perfume was good to go.
As I walked down the stairs past the hallway, a voice stopped me before making my exit towards the back door. I stood Firm without moving, as the footsteps approached near me.
"Where do you think you are going to? with such ill mannered clothing?!!!" Dad screamed as he turned me towards his direction.
"Oh dad please, I'm a grown up. I know what am doing, and it's better if you don't keep nagging Me with your questions." Feeling annoyed with his attitude towards me since morning. I tapped on the ground with my feet and walked out of the house, banging the door close behind me.
