Flower for a Princess (Craig Tucker x reader)

"Craig!" I yelled desperately in search of the emotionless thief.

I was on the run after a few elves had spotted me walking along the pond. I had neglected to bring any of my weapons so I had no other choice but to flee. Luckily Craig had decided to accompany me.

"My name is Feldspar." He stated, his voice as monotoned as usual.

I made my way over to him, grabbing his arm to hold myself up.

"Feldspar," I panted, rolling my eyes, "help me." I pointed to the small group of elves that were closing in on us.

Craig's eyes widened slightly, "Oh shit." He gently pushed me behind him with one arm. "Don't worry princess, I'll protect you."

I smiled warmly at his back as he confronted the enemy. Even if he never showed much emotion, he was always sweet to me.

Back when I moved to this cold little town in fourth grade, Craig was the one who invited me to play this game. It had just started then, junk being used as weapons and armor.

Every kid in the town was eventually in on it and we all invested in making it bigger. Now it was basically a way of life. I didn't mind, I am a princess after all. A title that Craig had fought to give me. His argument to Cartman being 'there can be more than one princess fatass. Don't even get me started on how your 'princess' has a penis.'

"You are safe now m'lady" I snapped away from my memories to see Craig bowing. He then extended his arm as to escort me away from the groaning elves.

"My hero" I grinned dorkily, latching my arm to his.

He led me further down the trail along the pond, to the edge of the forest.

He stopped, letting go of my arm and walking off to a small bush of flowers. He bent down, ripping one off from the rest of the plant.

"Craig?" I raised an eyebrow as he slowly walked back over to me.

"I love you Y/n." He handed me the flower as a blush crept over his face. Craig was blushing?

"W-what?" I stuttered, confused by the situation. I didn't know whether what I had heard was just in my head, or actually happened. I cautiously accepted the flower from his gloved hand.

He took a step closer placing a hand in my empty one.

"I love you. I didn't argue with fatass when this game started just for you to be a princess. I didn't want to see you hurt. I didn't know why at first, but now I know. You're beautiful and making you smile is the highlight of my day, everyday. I love you Y/n and I have for a long time." He finished, his speech as monotone as any other.

I quickly wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling him close for a hug. Tears were beginning to brim my eyes as I squeezed him. He wrapped his arms tightly around my waist and nuzzled his head into the crook of my neck; a warm feeling overtook my chest.

"I love you too Craig" I whispered, loosening my grip on his neck and looking up at him. I was shocked to see a small yet loving smile on the Craig Tucker.

He leaned down placing a short yet loving kiss on my lips. I instantly kissed back, smiling slightly.

I was the first to pull away, lack of oxygen and all.

Craig placed his hand back in mine as we started walking back to civilization.

"You wanna go play video games?" He broke the silence.

"Sure" I squeezed his hand lightly as we got back onto the road.

After that day, Craig was on everyone of Kupa Keeps bad side, something about abducting the princess and being a traitor. All to which he responded simply with 'my girlfriend is more important than you'.
