"H-hey Y/n!" Tweek stammered as he approached me in the hallway, followed by an exhausted Clyde and unamused Craig.

"Yo. What's up?" I asked with a blank expression. Craig just glared slightly at me. What's his problem? Despite years of hateful exchanges of words and occasional 'accidental' roughly bumping into eachother in the halls, I don't know why there'd be a problem.

"D-did you get those, ah! T-those chemistry notes from yesterday?" He nervously fumbled with his book bag strap.

"Yeah, here," I reached into my back pack and handed him the notes from his absence, "we probably need to catch up a little after school for the project though." Craig's glare noticeably deepened.

"Y-yeah, okay. Come over to the c-coffee shop after school?" I nodded in agreement, "cool. S-see you later Y/n!"

"Bye," I smiled kindly as he started off, Clyde soon to tiredly follow. Craig remained with his glare for a split second before I winked at him.

He huffed, hurrying off with a tight grip on his book bag straps.

I chuckled a little bit before walking away to my locker, what a lovely start to the day.

---

The bell sounded throughout the building and I dragged myself to my locker to change out my books. The only thing out of my normal routine today was my earlier interaction with Tweek, but I haven't stopped thinking about Craig and fictional scenarios.

He was acting different today. I could tell by his lack of snarky remarks when we were near eachother.

I slammed my locker shut once I snapped out of my daydream and walked towards my next class.

I approached the door only to find Craig blocking it, his back towards me as he held a conversation with Token.

I cleared my throat and Craig glanced over his shoulder. The bell sounded and Token rushed to an empty seat, but Craig never moved, he just turned to face me with a devious smirk.

"Craig, can I please get into the classroom?" I asked through clenched teeth.

"Since you asked so nicely... No" I rolled my eyes at his childlike behavior, causing his smirk to grow.

"Don't be a dick Craig. Let me in." I scowled up at him, trying to be as intimidating as I could, which failed as usual.

He chuckled lightly, "awh. You're so adorable when you want to kill me."

I looked to the ground with a heated face. Adorable?

Before I could think too hard on the questionable compliment, the substitute teacher walked up beside me, "in the room you two, please take your seats."

I sighed, finally getting into the classroom to find that the only two available seats were right next to eachother.

Craig looked over to see my frustration, the same smirk creeping back onto his face before walking over and taking the seat nearest to the window.

I mentally screamed as I took my seat, shooting Craig a dirty look once I did so. His response was yet another smirk, more amused than devious this time.

His seat wasn't directly beside me, but a couple inches back as well, which I already knew would be trouble.

"Okay class, today your teacher was sick so I'm filling in for him. It says here that you had an assignment last night and we're to review them~" the substitutes voice faded to the back of my mind as I felt a pair of eyes glued to me.
