I rolled my eyes "Body guards,"
"That's why they're flanking the doors then..." She abruptly stopped and narrowed her eyes at me.
She gasped "Does that mean your life is in danger?"
"Not really, My dad is just over-reacting." Napabuntung hininga ako bago bumalik sa pagsusulat.
Umayos sa pag kakaupo si stephanie at pinaglaruan ang ballpen nya.
"I know the feeling, you know?" She said with a pout. I put down my pen and looked at her
"Nakakasakal." I said with a thoughtful nod
"Sometimes on their attempts to protect us, they end up to be the very thing that kills us." Isang malungkot na ngiti ang naglaro sa labi nya. Stephanie can really empathize since her parents are both lawyers. Malimit silang nasa panganib lalo na kung malaki at kontrobersyal ang kaso na hinahandle ng parents nya.
"But on the bright side..." She flashed a wicked smile at me bago lumingon sa paligid ng classroom. We haven't drawn attention yet dahil busy ang teacher sa pag susulat sa board.
"I learned a trick or two on how to evade those dogs." She winked
"You might as well share those tricks to me, then."
"On one condition."
"You're hurting me steph, I thought were friends." I joked with a bright smile
"Madali lang naman yung hihingin ko." She smiled back
"Here's the deal, I'll take care of the guards but in return you'll introduce me to one of the Blackburn cousins." So that is what this is all about, huh?
"You've got yourself a deal." I agreed in a heartbeat
"Well, let's shake on it." She held out her hand and we sealed the deal.
Pagkatapos ng klase namin ay agad na tumayo si Stephanie para ilink ang braso nya sa braso ko.
"So, tell me about your current situation, but be vague about it, in case they've got a bug on you."
"I doubt it, my dad haven't reached that point of paranoia yet." I replied but a nagging feeling sat heavy at the pit of my stomach. My father is not beyond using triadtech to spy on people.
I just wish na hindi nya gagawin ang bagay na yon sa sarili nyang anak.
We passed the doors and headed to our next class together habang si Malcom at Dmitri, ang dalawang guards ay nanatiling nakasunod ng may tatlong metrong layo

Our professor for econ did not arrive at nag iwan lang ng mga gagawin but despite that malaya kaming nakapag plano ni Stephanie and in no time the plan is in motion.
