It all started at the Burrow.
Molly and Arthur were singing while the twins were laughing and dancing. Everyone else was either clapping along or dancing as well.
Hermione smiled at this warm scene. Everyone was so happy. Ron was off tomorrow to start his Auror training alongside Harry.
Ginny was off next Monday for her last year at Hogwarts. The twins were successfully happy with their shop.
Bill and Charlie were quite happy in their lives and Percy was surprisingly very joyful and happy at where his life was taking him. Everything was perfect.
In perfect harmony.
But not everything perfect stays forever.
Everything changed for Hermione that same night.

Harry and Ron burst out laughing again as they drank more shots of fire whiskey.
"Oh Godric!" Ron yelled out laughing.
Harry served them both more Fire Whiskey as he asked: "For you and me, old mate!" Ron somewhat lifted his cup and drank all the fire whiskey down in a second. Hermione stood there at the door. Her arms crossed and with a scowling face. She didn't approve of them drinking but she hated it when they got drunk. She walked up to them and yanked the bottle of fire whiskey from Harry's grasp as she scowled, "Enough! You guys are practically drunk!"
Harry and Ron looked at each other and exploded with laughter.
"Hermione is CRAY CRAY!" Ron laughed as he fell to the floor. Harry somewhat stood up and bowed to Hermione as he yelled out, all under alcohol influence: "Why of course MOTHER DEAR!" He then joined Ron on the floor and laughed with him.
Hermione crossed her arms and said firmly, "I am just doing what's best for you guys."
But when one is extremely drunk one acts like a complete idiot and that's what Harry and Ron did.
"Best for us?! Hermione, you are just a big bossy girl! We both are grown men! We know how to take care of ourselves! We don't need your help 24/7. I'm starting to regret even kissing you at the battle of Hogwarts! We're done." Ron said turning red but before he could continue his bickering he completely passed out on the floor.
Harry looked at Ron and then at Hermione as before saying, "Hermione just be quiet..." He didn't want to deal with her at the moment. He then proceeded to walk past her and yank the bottle from her hands before he locked himself in a room.
Hermione stood there in pure shock. What in the world did just happen? She didn't notice that tears were now streaming her eyes and before she knew it she started crying silently.
She cried but not because of the breakup. She cried because Ron wasn't strong enough to see what his actions were making him do and act.
