I'm Still Into You

CHAPTER 18

IANS POV

At the moment my life suck because A) no one wants to talk to me B) Nina is in love with someone else and C) I don't have anyone to talk too.

As I am taking a nap I hear a knock on the door.

"I must be dreaming" I mumble then I hear it again.

I groan and get up from the couch and walk to the door. When I open the door I see a lady standing there who is probably in her late twenties or early thirties and she is beautiful.

"Hi I am Nikki your new neighbour" She said while she stuck out her hand

"I am Ian" I replied while shaking her hand

"Oh um would you like to come in?" I asked politely

"Sure but I can't stay for long because I have got to go to visit my brother" she said while smiling.

When she came in she sat on the couch and started asking some basic questions like 'how long have you lived in the neighbourhood' and some other questions

"Are you single?" I blurted out and she looked at me with wide eyes

"Uhh yes" she responded

"I am so sorry that wasn't meant to come out" I said

"It's fine, I actually found it quite funny" she said while laughing a little

"Would you like to go out for dinner tomorrow night?" I asked

"Yes that would be great, I will give you my number and you can just text me all the details" she said

"Okay" I said

After we exchanged numbers Nikki needed to go she her brother so we said our goodbyes. I was so excited for tomorrow night because I actually had the courage to ask a girl out and this time I am not going to do anything thing to ruin my chance of moving on.

I went to go pick Nikki up at around seven thirty and I took her to and Italian restaurant because she really likes pasta. While we were waiting for our food Nikki told me a bit about her self and I did the same as well, it turns out that Nikki and I actually have a lot in common like we both like animals and some other strange things.

Nikki and I left the restaurant when it was about ten o'clock and when we got to her house it was around 10:45 and we were both tired

"Bye Ian, it was really nice of you to take me out for dinner" She said whole smiling

"Your welcome Nikki" I said while i smiled back

"I guess I will see you soon"

"Bye Nikki" I said while she got out of the car and she waved.

I think that I am ready to tell Nina that I have moved on.
