How could he? (Mon)

About five months had passed since I agreed to do the musical, which is Grease Lightning (for anyone who doesn't know this movie look it up, it's awesome). Sven and I practise every LS(learning support) session and Monday and Tuesday afternoons and I was almost ready to perform. Luckily for me, we still had two months to go. Nothing really changed in the past few months. I was still getting terrible grades in ... well everything, Sven didn't change too much after all, at least that I know of. But I must admit that I have barely cried, and my stutters have gotten better.

It was Monday lunch time, when Sven would go spend half of it with his group of friends and the other half doing some fun karaoke with me. I was laying in the middle of the drama room, my arms out stretched holding my phone above my head, earphones in, looking at the two library pictures of Sven, well the two that where in his file. There was something that was constantly bugging me about them, but I couldn't put my finger on it. Giving up on it for now, I sat up and thought for a minute. Where's Sven? He's usually here by now. I got to my feet, put my phone away, and started walking to the door. There's something not right here. I randomly started walking in any direction, on my way to find Sven.

I stopped when I realized where my feet had taken me. I was standing right outside the school library! The school library, a place where nerds and geeks go to hide from the cool kids and where they spend their free time. Wrong! Not at this school. Here the school library is the nest for cool kids. This is the main hang-out spot for all the jocks, players, queen bees... in other words all the, even remotely, cool kids. I had never taken one step in there, and I never planned on doing so. Unfortunately, whilst I was in my thoughts, my feet had already started making their way to the entrance, knowing that Sven would be in there.

As I put my hand on the door handle I stopped and took a breath. I pulled it down then pushed the door open and took one large, but at the same time timid, step into enemy territory. I heard a zipping sound from above me and automatically looked to where the sound was coming from. It was a small string moving over and under things, as soon as I spotted it I looked above my head knowing something was going to fall on me. What happened next happened so fast that nothing could have been done, but it all seemed to go in slow motion. The second I looked up a bulky bucket started falling. It tipped to the side and the slimy blue substance started dripping, then all the rest of the of it smashed right into my face and all over my back. I quickly pulled my head down so no more of the slime could fall onto it, but as I did the bucket itself scraped past the side of my face and the end of the metal wire handle pierced deep into my skin and pulled down until it fell to the ground. I yelled as an agonizing wave of pain crashed into my cheek and continued through my whole face. Big fat drops of salty tears immediately started gushing out of my tightly shut eyes.

"Ooooooooooh!" I hear a whooping of triumph "We've got a baby smurf here!" The voice sounded oddly familiar. I opened my eye just a crack to see who had pulled the prank and was celebrating it with his friends now. I was horrified by what I saw, the boy had his back turned to me, giving all his friends high-fives.

"Sven?" I muttered in surprise, disgust and humiliation. The second I said it, he tensed up and froze. I felt a whole lot more tears coming on. And, before anything else could happen, I turned around and sprinted out the door and as far away from that place as possible. Just as I left the library I heard on of the guys say "Umm, Dude, why has some of the slime gone purple?"
