Melanie's POV

Today is Friday meaning it's the last day of school! For the week. Today I went out of the house a bit earlier than usuals because right now, I am on my way to pick Roni up at her house. She needed a lift to school.

When I was in front of her house I called Roni, cause like I'm too lazy to get out of the car and ring the doorbell, and plus, you never know who will answer the door. I'm really bad and awkward with new people.

Roni answered the call "Well hello hi Roni speaking!"

"Get out of the house you dummy" before I ended the call I heard Roni trying to say something but she was too late. After a few minutes waiting for her I saw here coming out of the door. She glared at me playfully while walking towards my car.

"Why did you call me a dummy ?! I know I can be dumb but I promise you I am not THAT dumb ! " she scolded me which made me laugh at her behaviour.

"Hehe. Sorry not sorry ! Buckle up the seat belt, you never know when accidents happens" She mumbled something but I didn't catch what she said.

"Hey did you cursed at me?" I said while keeping my eyes on the road.

"What happens if I did? Are you going to kick me out of the car?" She said daringly.

I don't kick people out of my car. What I do is

Roni screamed in pain after I suddenly pressed the emergency brake, making her fall forward and hit the front window. Reasons why you should wear a seatbelt kids. I continued driving while Roni is recovering from the short pain.

"I warned you to wear the seatbelt. Accidents can happen at any time." I smirk satisfied with what I did. Hehe. Hey! It's not childish to do that alright, and also it's just a friendly banter!

I heard the seatbelt being buckled and Roni said "But that wasn't an accident was it?" with a hint of annoyance. Oho someone is mad.

"Oh stop whining, it was to teach you a lesson for not wearing seatbelt." I see our school building and soon after ,we are at the parking lot.

"Thanks for the ride Mel, and for the lesson!" Roni said while laughing, which made me laugh with her too. After we went inside, we separated ways to our lockers to get the books for our class.

I was on my way to my first class, art class ! I enjoy art very much ! If only I can draw like those pro artists out there. When I reached my class, I sat at an empty seat and there is another empty on beside, and behind me. Few minutes before class starts, I saw a dude went inside. It was Jack.

He looked up and saw me, he smiled. I saw him making his way to the empty seats. I honestly thought he would take the one behind but he end up sitting beside me.

"Hey." He said short and simple but with his sweet smile, it makes sounds so much.

"Hey" I replied back with a smile.

"I didn't know you were in art class cause like I didn't see you last week" I said to him.

"Well last week I had something to do so I didn't come to school." But before we can continue our conversation, our art teacher is already here. So we continued our class as per usual.

After art class, Jack offered to send me off to my next class. While we were making our way to my class we had a normal conversation. I was actually curious about Lucas, I didn't see him today too so I asked Jack about it.
