A/N; THANK YOU GUYS FOR ALL THE SUPPORT! It means a lot to me. I am slowly writing cause when I write slowly it helps me make longer chapters. The story is at a small stand still (no I'm not having writer's block) I'm just trying to space everything out. I don't want Estelle & Giovanni to quickly fall in love and stuff. I want you to be able to read and see the transition from liking someone to having feelings and loving someone. It's going slow but you need to pay attention to these chapters cause soon it will all make sense. Another reason it's taking so long to update is the fact that I have so many ideas for this book but I'm trying to give everything a sequence. I'm trying to find an order to put all of my ideas so everything can fall into place evenly. PLEASE VOTE & COMMENT SUGGESTIONS/ADVICE/PRAISE OR ANYTHING. THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH!!

In case you guys don't know lawyer/police terms here are some of the terms I'll be using in the book.

The feds = FBI

NYPD = New York Police Department

Surveilling = Take a person/place under surveillance (pretty much watching/staking the place/person out)

Force = police or any law enforcement agency

wire tap = when the police listen in on conversations made on phones by criminals

PICTURE OF DIMITRI ON THE SIDE (ESTELLE'S BOSS)

-----------------------

I walked into the office to find Dimitri buried in paper work. I cleared my throat to announce my presence and set the bags of food down on the table. ''I got Italian food. Where do you want me to start?'' I started to separate the food for the both of us as Dimitri went to grab the new info to brief me on the case.

''Thanks, and let me brief you first. The feds and the NYPD have been surveilling the Battistas and their known homes, businesses, and places which they've frequented to see what they've been up to. They are also monitoring their phones, passports, and bank records. They always seem to be one step ahead of us for some reason. We think we've got a leak in either the force or this office.''

I nodded, indicating I was understanding so far.

''The feds just gave us a whole transcript from a wire tap. This might help us put Battista away for good. Highlight anything you think may help us in the case. We gotta get this son of a bitch.''

I agreed and went to work quickly. Dimitri and I looked over dozens of transcripts for 2 hours and ate our marvelous dinner. By the the time we were finished we had concluded that the Battista mob had someone on the inside. There was no way they could have all the information that they had without someone telling them.

''Thanks again Estelle for coming on such short notice. It means a lot.''

I nodded firmly, ''Just doing my job.''

As we were putting away all the files, closing up shop as we called it Dimitri asked me a question out of the blue. ''Hey, where did you get this food? I know it's Italian.''

''Erm, a friend of mine took me there. I think his family owns the place. This was all free. Quite lavish place.'' I chuckled.

''Where is it? I'd love to go there.''

''Um, I don't know to be honest. We were nearing the office and I suddenly remembered that you were hungry so he told me he knew a place so we stopped by. You should've seen it! The people over there treated him like loyalty. The place was beautiful too.''

Dimtri nodded and got his coat off the rack. ''Well if you ever go there again, please tell me the address. Hey, if we win the Battista case we might even go there to celebrate.'' Dimitri joked.
