Chapter 3.

I woke up with the same pounding in my head. I got up and did my normal routine.

I walked to the bus stop to see Michael standing there. He turned around and smiled at me.

"morning Darcy"

"morning Michael" I gave him a hug like I always do when I see him. We pulled away and then waited for the bus. We talked about random things until the bus came.

I got on the bus and sat on the same spot as I did yesterday. Michael sits next to me.

The boys sat in the same spots as they did today and started talking about soccer. I just sat there and listened to them talking.

When we got off the bus I went to my locker and got my English books out. I walked to the classroom and sat down in a chair. I was one of the first people there so I just watched everyone come into the class room. The boys had soccer training so I was stuck alone.

"Is this seat free?" a girl with strawberry blonde hair and blue eyes asked. She look really friendly.

"yeah" I said and focused my attention on the door.

"I'm Chloe"

"I'm Darcy" She gave a warm smile and I could help but smile at the fact that I have talked to one person apart from the boys.

"yeah I am. I moved here because my cousin goes here"

"who's your cousin?"

"Michael Clifford"

"So your in the same class as him"

"pretty much" Just as I said that the teacher walked in.



"and that's your homework for tonight and it is due next lesson" As I was packing up my stuff I heard someone say something behind me.

"would you like to sit with me and a couple of my friends instead of your cousin?" Chloe looked hopeful.

"sure I would love to" I walked out with her as we stopped off at both of our lockers and then went to sit at a table. As we were walking to a table where some of Chloe's friends where I saw Luke waving to me to say 'we're over here Darcy" but i kept on walking. We stop at a table with 4 girls already sitting down.

"girls this is Darcy, Dracy these are my friends Demi, Kaitlyn, Kate and Grace" I smiled and waved to all of them as I sat down next to Demi and Chloe.

"you must be new here because I haven't seen you before" She had amazing blue eyes and brown hair. She looked really tall.

"yeah I am"

"well if you need anything I'm always here" She gave me a warm smile which I returned

"thank you"

"anytime. I recon we are going to become good friends" we both chuckled at her comment and both started eating our food. I listened to the other girls talking about some random things for a couple of minuets as the bell went. I got up and said goodbye to all the girls and they told be to sit with them more offen.

As I walked up to my locker I saw Luke waiting there. I smiled as I started to unlock my locker.

"so I see you have made new friends?"

"I only just met them, I don't think i would call them my friends" I grabbed my Health books and locked my locker.

"You've only known me for 2 days and I'm one of your friends" He seemed upset and angry.

"but that's different. You are Michael's best friend so since I'm stuck with Michael I guess I'm stuck with you guys" We walked into the class room and I sat down next to Michael and Luke sat next to me.






It's now the end of the day and I'm so happy about that. I managed to get homework from all my classes I had today. I got on the same bus with the boys as we did yesterday. Michael came over to my hosue so we could do our homework together. We manged to get most of it done and then Micheal went home. I had a shower and went to bed. That whole day I forgot I had cancer. I forgot about how I didn't have much time to live. I forgot about it all.
