Chapter 6.

The day went by really fast. It was now lunch and I was making my way to the table where I saw the boys and Demi and Grace. Demi was sitting next to Calum and Grace was sitting next to Ashton. Luke smiled as I walked over. I smiled back and he moved over to let me sit down.

"Hey Darcy we were just talking about Gracie's party, are you in?" Demi asked.

"yeah sounds fun"

"awesome it's next friday at my house at 7" Grace looked excited. I would be if I had a party but I would hae no one to invite.

"I can pick you up if you want" Luke said quietly.

"yeah I would like that" I started to listen to everyone else talk, I looked over to Ashton and Grace who were staring at each other intently while chatting about her birthday and other random things. I smiled to myself thinking they would be cute together, I let out a chuckle and michael looked at me like I was crazy which made me laugh more. I sat quietly for most of lunch just smiling at how happy I was at this moment.

The bell sounded and I got up walking with michael to our next class "I have a check up tomorrow"

"I hope everything is ok" he says taking my hand

"trust me, I do too" I smiled

*the next day*

My mum held my hand as we sat in the waiting room, she always did this, she would hold my hand and Squeeze it everytime a nurse walked in. She looked at me twice to make sure I was ok, which I was, I was always nervous waiting for the results I guess I'm sort of just used to it.

A nurse with dirty blonde hair walked in and called my name, I stood up and walked over to the room I was in before, I sat down on the bed and looked at her before she sat down next to me, she sighed and took my hand in hers "darcy, I have some bad news, your cancer is taking over and unfortunately you only have 5 mounths left to live"

Everything slowed down, mother started to cry but I just sat there staring at the wall infront of me, I let out the breath I didn't know I was holding and looked at her, "don't cry for me, just be happy your not going through this"I sighed and then weakly smiled "I know I can get through these 5 mouths being happy and forgetting that I am going to die"

*at home*

I was sitting in my room on my laptop scrolling through tumblr when michael walked in "how was the check up"

"Michael I got bad news come and sit down" I patted the spot next to me and he sat down with worry in his eyes

"My cancer has gotten worst michael" I sighed holding his hand "Michael I only have 5 mouths left" tears suddenly fell from his eyes and he pulled me into a hug a tight one at that.

"I can't lose you Darcy! I can't!" he cried

"Michael its ok, I'm still here right now aren't I? dont cry please" I pulled away leaving my hands on his shoulders "I want to spend these last few mouths with you and our friends because for the first time since I found out I had cancer I am happy, happy because of all of you" I smiled wipping his tears away with the pad of my thumb. He smiled at my comment.

"you are the strongest person I know" he said sniffling "I don't know how you stay so positive" he chuckled

"I don't know either, I guess I just have too be" I chuckled "Michael?"

"yeah?"

"when I'm gone, please don't be sad because its just saying a goodbye to me being here next to you, but it's not a good bye to me being in your heart, i'll always be there no matter what"

"I promise" he said with the tears starting to fall again.

"I promise, forever and always"

Shout out tO GRACIEEEEEEEEEEEE who wrote most of the chapter while I had writers block! I was crying during the chapter. SOOOOO tomorrow I might update but I have state cricket trainig so I might be too tired BUTTTTTTTTT I might update again tonight. ote and comment pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee xx
