Chapter 14.

Ever since Niall and I went on that date we've been close. Really close. We are at sound check and the one direction boys are up right now. I walked into the room where the boys were sitting talking about something. When I walked in it went quiet.

"whatcha talking about?" Michael, Calum and Ashton were there but there was no Luke. They looked at each other before they spoke. They all said different things.

"ok well I'm going to find Luke" I walked out if the room and walked down several hallways to find Luke sitting down talking to someone on the phone.

"but it doesn't seem right"

"I'm still in love with her"

"well I'll see you in 1 week"

He hung up and put sighed. I walked to him and sat down next to him. He looked at me and looked back on the ground. We sat in silence before Luke spoke.

"hi"

"everything alright?"

"no" he mumbled

"do you want a hug?" he nodded and I gave him a hug. We stay like that for awhile.

"have the boys told you yet?"

"what?" is this what they were talking about

"the girls are coming on tour"

"REALLY?" he nodded.

"we better go see the boys, the sound check is nearly finished" He nodded and got up he put his hand out and helped me up.

We walked into the room to see the rest of the boys haven't moved.

"she knows" Luke said and there smiled faded. He sat down on the floor, still in a grumpy mood. I sat next to him. I have never seen Luke like this before. His always happy.

*1 week later*

I was at the airport with the rest of the boys waiting for the girls. Calum and Ashton were excited to see there girlfriends. They haven't stopped talking about it since we got in the mini bus. All week Luke hasn't been himself. His been quiet lately.

I saw Demi and Grace run towards Ashton and Calum. I saw Chloe and Kaitlyn walk up to me and I gave them a massive hug. I saw Kate hand in hand with someone who looked familer. She has a boyfriend?! Is that why Luke is upset? I gave her a hug when she got closer.

"Darcy, this is my boyfriend Jai" I smiled and waved. I think i've seen him before.

"well let's get going!" yelled Michael and we wall laughed and walked out of the airport. On the mini bus I sat with Luke. He seemed upset.

"are you ok because you haven't been yourself lately?" He looked at me and then looked down.

"have you ever had you heart broken, twice?"

"nope"

"well the girl that I love only sees me as a friend. I love her so much. I thought I moved on and found another girl but she leaves me for someone else"

"Wait are you talking about Kate?" He nodded.

"Maybe they aren't the girls for you"

"but what if everytime you think of her you smile, like she's the only person who can make you smile, the only person who can make you feel this way. I just don't want to see her hurt"

"wait Kate or the mystory girl?"

"Mystory girl" wow Luke must be in love with this girl.

"it's alright Luke. You know your my best friend and always will be" he nodded and mumbled something but I couldn't hear.

When we arrived at our hotel Michael Luke and I walked into our room and watched some TV. Half way though the show Luke's phone went off and walk out if the room to answer it.

*Luke's P.O.V*

I got up off the bed and walked out of the room to answer my phone. It was Niall.

"yes Niall?"

"Luke how long does she have to live?"

"less then 4 months"

"well Luke I'm in a situation where I met this girl and she's amazing and beautiful and I just don't want to get my heart broken by Darcy"

"nice lie! but go for the other girl because it sounds like you'll have a great life with her"

"why are you talking to me like this Luke, Have I done something wrong?" I laughed

"You know ever since I first met Darcy I was in love with her. When she told me she had cancer I wanted to help her and always be there for her. When she told me she was going to die in 5 months I knew I was going to be there by her side every step of the way. It was my idea inviting her on the tour!"

"well she's all yours man. I don't want to take someone's girl. Are we good now?"

"yeah we're all good" I hung up and for the first time an a week I smiled

I'm so sorry I was busy at state cricket since it has literally taken over my life.
