My thoughts lead into the night, never allowing me to rest for one moment in fear of when I wake, Dark will physically be gone as well.
"I'm so sorry, Dark. I'm to blame for this." I felt to blame for everything that happened to him after I was taken. Dark shouldn't feel that kind of pain when he was already suffering.
The restless nights turned into days, and those days became at least two weeks. I stopped counting then.
Soft knocks on the door pulled me from the tears I unconsciously shed, leaving dark stains on Dark's tunic.
"Miss, we may have found something that will be of good news to you. Come downstairs quickly, milady." The butler bowed before leaving down the stairs. I took one last glance at Dark's body, removed his hat and whispering, " you look more besutiful without the hat covering you," before descending the stairs myself.
Standing before me was the princess and Link surrounded by the servants.
"State your business." My voice held no gentleness as it once did towards these people; now it had a venom that felt as if it would stab right through their souls if it could.
Link backed down, and Zelda stepped forward, her gaze breaking from mine. "We know how to bring Dark back, but it could result in your death."
I held Dark's hat in my hands, looking upon the taller girl with cold eyes.
"Anything for Dark, just tell me what I have to do."
I dismissed the servants to do their duties as I walked the two to the gardens. I sat by the statue of Dark and his mother.
"So, what is this idea you have?"
I stare at the couple before me as a fire began to stir within me at the idea that Dark could be returned.
"There is a way to revive Dark, but it involves Ganon and anyone else that was involved with his corruption. Ganon has the Goddess Harp in his stronghold. That harp has special properties. If you play a certain song, it will revive Dark Link. I don't know if there are any catches, but that's all that we have."
"I see, you may leave. I will do this on my own."
Link stood to protest but Zelda quickly hushed the boy, understanding my words.
"We can't save you if you get captured. Remember that, (y/n). Farewell."
The two left me in the garden with my thoughts running rampant.
I can save him.
I walk back to Dark's room and sit at his side, brushing his hair out of his face.
"I know you can't hear me, but I'm going to sing for you one more time; just in case I don't come back."
I set his head in my lap and begin to sing, combing through his hair as I do so.

After I sang to Dark's body, I geared up in his armor and retrieved his sword, intent on getting him back no matter the cost.
No matter the outcome, I will be with you either way.
Dark will be revived in the next chap guys, I promise.
