Lizette's POV:
Oh gosh! Paasa talaga ako. I thought na si Phil na ang magiging kaibigan ko. I was wrong. So let's just forget about it, this is another day of school and after my classes, I saw Mat, sitting at the benches, crying. I feel so sorry for him kasi nakipag break up si Maria sa kanya. Because he ain't good enough for him, tsk tsk tsk poor thing. So I went up to him, "Here's a tissue for you." "It's ok." "No, you need this" "*takes the tissue*, Liz, Am I not good enough for her? Kulang kulang ba ako? Am I too ugly? Am I not worthy of her love?" "Matthew, of course you are good. The reason why she left you because she's stupid and a user. But if I were her, I would never leave you ,Oops!!! Sorry I said that!"
Mat's POV:
I think Liz is sincere, do you think I should ask her out? I think she will accept my invitation since I think she's worth my time. "D-do you want to h-hang out with me at umm.. At the ice cream shop at 5:00pm? Tonight?" "Sure Matthew. Here, I think you might need this *hugs tightly*" "Ya sure I need that. *hugs back* see ya later." "Bye."
I think she's kinda cute. Should I trust again? Should I be able to recover from my pain tonight? Am I just making a fool of myself?
At the ice cream shop...
"So, you love ice cream?" "Yes, it soothes me whenever I feel sad." With her head tilted, I can tell that she's pretty interested in my story."
Liz's POV:
This guy seemed sad, while eating chocolate ice cream, I asked him "Mat, don't you worry, I will lift you up to happiness again like before. Just remember to always keep your chin up high even if you are sad. " "Yes, I will." Then he holds both of my hands, I am trying not to blush but I don't think I can hide my blushing cheeks.
After all of those fun talks, probably at 7:00pm, "Let's go home na. I have curfew." "Sure." *Raindrops start falling hard*
"Oh shoot! It's raining! I don't have a umbrella! Geez!" "Don't you worry Liz. I got an idea!" Then he puts his jacket on my head and so he did for himself. It's so fun, we ran through the rain, holding each other's hand. Just like those movies. Hayyyy.......
