Alpha Female

Chapter 8

Pearls POV
we've been here for two days now and today is the day we finally start proper training including the females and some of the pups. "Right we will not show biased to any of the wolves in this pack we train them all equally and be careful when they're around Vlad because this pack doesn't trust vampires as we do" I said through the mindlink because we have a history of providing savage rouges to the vampires to feast on which is why our pack has great relationships with the vampires and other species. After I came out of my train of thought I instructed the packs warriors and those who want training to meet me in the training field so we can begin. I came into the field to see Vlad standing next to my pack and Rex's pack all looked over warily at him from a distance they felt was safe which was about ten metres away and they were clearly holding back the urge to growl at him then I had an idea and nodded at Vlad.

"Hey girls you want a practice match" said Vlad to my pups. "Your going to take on all four of us" asked Diamond incredulously as she looked amongst her sisters and they just nodded their heads. "Alright be prepared uncle Vlad" said Emerald as she drew her twin swords and started circling whilst Ruby and Safire shifted in to their wolves and Diamond drew a single sword which was a one handed weapon. "Alright come at me" said Vlad to which Ruby and Safire charged in their wolf forms one going high the other low, mean while both Diamond and Emerald moved forward slicing his sides while he was distracted fighting of the pups wolves, but before they could do any real damage I called them off. "Alright pups that's enough why don't you help teach your father's pack" I said to which they nodded and headed towards his pack and began their training. "Well that was a mistake, you have trained your daughter's remarkably well a few more seconds and they would have killed me" said Vlad looking pale even for a vampire. "Well you shouldnt have challenged all four of them you know they fight as a cohesive unit it's impossible to beat them" I said as I helped him up from the ground.

"I know and they were only playing" Vlad shivered as he remembered the last time he fought them all at once they had come very close to killing him". "Alright packs it's time to start training we will begin at the beginers level" said Rex addressing his pack. Now that they've seen how easy it was for my pups to subdue the vampire if he gets out of hand, they all slightly relaxed. "What's beginers level training" a female asked she looked to be about eighteen. "Beginers level training is Basic combat in both wolf and human form along with speed training" Said Clara as she took a stance preparing for a race. "Let's start with speed in human form first, where going to run around the territory five times. The time limit is one hour now get to work" I called watching some of newer trainees whine before they started jogging I knew my pack could do those laps in twenty minutes max so I jogged around with them lapping each person including Rex at least three times and waited at the pack house fifteen minutes after issuing the order for the rest of the packs to come. A few moments later Clara and our pups broke through the tree line followed a minute later by my warriors having completed their five laps and started doing their stretches. I then watched the tree line as members of Rex's pack came out of the trees, Rex and Mathew were the first ones out of the tree line thirty five minutes after I set the challenge and after that his pack members began to complete their last lap panting as they tried to put breath back into their lungs. The last of Rex's pack members to break through the tree line panting heavily was Trisha she was who I believed to be the queen bee of the school environment in this pack. "You have a lot of work to do friend I don't envy you" Vlad chuckled as he watches Rex's pack with amused eyes. "Alright your speed is to slow how do expect to ward of rouges if your to slow to catch them and then too winded to fight them of when you reach the battle field, Should I call Demon to whip you into shape" I spoke and watched as Rex's pack tensed at the mention at the name of the strongest alpha in the world. "No that's not necessary" said Rex hastily.

"I do believe you just scared the pants of them" Vlad said loudly as he jumped up onto a sturdy tree branch so I could continue the training. "Right please pair of please try to get a partner from a different pack so we can see weaknesses and strengths, but first do some stretches so your muscles don't seize up" I said loudly so my voice carried across the field that we were all gathered on. Everyone got into pairs it being an even split mostly between the packs. "Begin to fight as if you would normally fight a rouge against your opponent and do not injure your partner" Clara spoke from beside me as she walked over to Matthew with a wide menacing smile. I watched most of Rex's pack go down realitivly easy as shook my head in distain I might have to call Demon after all. Demon is the alpha of the strongest pack in the world and is a long time friend of mine in the years I have been an alpha. "You are making moves that are easy to predict and are obvious before you make them that is why most of you were beaten, in the next three weeks we will train and train hard every day to whip you into shape and if you have not improved I will call Demon" I boomed across the training field.
