Chapter 15

Pearl's POV

I was showering with Demon after our passionate lovemaking as we had been called on after our third round. I sighed as Demon lathered my hair with shampoo before pushing me under the steam of the shower and rinsing. "I think we're done" I sighed feeling clean and refreshed.  Demon nodded before turning off the water and stepping out of the shower. "We better get dressed before we're called on again" Demon spoke a slight chuckle present in his words. I got ready first whilst trying to keep my thoughts clean when my eyes landed on the messed up bed sheets.   

When we were both finally ready we left Demons temporary room holding hands. We walked downstairs and into the garden where all three packs were gathered around the others have already gone home. "Alpha's" Clara called as she walked over to us a giant smile appeared on her face. "Yes, Clara what do you want," I asked my face neutral even though I was grinning wildly on the inside. "To congratulate you, of course, it's not every day one wins a war and finds a new mate" She exclaimed more chipper than I had ever seen her. "Thank you for your kind words, Clara, we can talk later right now I'd like to see my daughters" I said excitedly as i walked past her with Demon still by my side his hand still tightly entwined with my own. 

"Mom, your back uncle Vlad said you were taking care of some business last night" asked Diamond a quizzing look in her eyes as she spotted mine and Demon's entwined hands. I let go of Demons hand to bend down and hug her so she knew that everything was alright. I hugged the the rest of my girls too and then Quarts. I then returned to Demons side with a smile on my face as I re-entwined our hands as the packs looked on. I was dragged out of my bubble when Rex approached us with an unreadable expression on his face.

"Alpha Demon, Alpha Pearl seeing as how the threat has now been neutralised and my pack no longer requires your help you are free to leave at your leisure. Thank you for helping us and you both may call on me if either of your packs need assistance in the future. As for Quarts he must remain here to take over my position when he is ready. However, Both he and Jake will be free to visit you when they have spare time. Does that sound good to you both" Rex rushed out in one breath. I thought over it for a moment and those terms were agreeable in my eyes. Demon had his mouth set in a stern line until I tugged on his hand and offered him a full smile at which his eyes softened and he nodded back. 

"Yes Alpha Rex, those terms are agreeable we will take our leave in the next two days as my pack will be moved to England by then" Demon Replied before I had a chance to open my mouth. "What" I gasped. "You don't have to give up your pack Pearl, I'm moving mine closer so that we will have two separate territories but we will have a common ground where we will all interact" Demon explained his eyes taking on a nervous hue. "You would move your pack half way across the world, for me" I asked quizzically, never would I have imagined anything like this. "Why wouldn't I you are my guiding light sweetheart I would do anything to make you happy" He responded with such honesty and sincerity that tears sprang to my eyes as I reached up and planted my lips on his in a ferocious kiss that took his breath away. "Your too good for me" I whispered in his ear before I went back to my original standing position. "It is you who is too good for me" Demon beamed. 

"What does that mean for us mom" Ruby asked in a concerned tone. "It means you will be able to see Demons pack all the time. Do not worry though we will still have our own space. If I'm right they traded lands with the England pack because the English Alpha has been trying to expand into our territory for some time now" I remarked out loud before looking over to Demon who was rubbing the back of his head. Of course he knew I had told him about it as a discussion topic but that was at least five months ago. "I Decided when I found out that you were my mate that I would move our packs closer together" Demon explained as he wrapped his arms around my waist. "When did you know I was your mate" I inquired as the worst thought crossed few my brain. "I only figured it out yesterday or the day before but I have loved you for all the years we have known each other. I Just thought with the battle coming it would be a bad time to tell you so I waited until after the battle" Demon responded calmly and I leaned my head back against his chest as I hummed my contentment with his thoughtfulness. 

"Alright, now that's out of the way you all need to prepare for your journey home, I will go ahead and inform the pack of what has transpired for you my friend. As it was in helping you that I found my beloved" Vlad stated happily before he teleported away no doubt to his beloved first and then my pack. "You heard him girls we are going home the day after tomorrow. We will also have some new neighbours we will sort the logistics out when we get back" I boomed through the crowd so all of my pack could here me. 

The next two days passed in a blur of merriment and packing. I had a heart to Heart with Quarts about his visit schedule and the fact that he would see me again after he had become teary eyed when I had announced we were going back to Scotland. Demon had left yesterday as his father and adviser were in urgent need of him in England as some of the pack wasn't happy with his decision. I didn't have the urge to be with him all the time because I knew we would make time to see each other. I have asked a mated couple if that was normal and they had said that they always wanted to be with each other and when I asked them if one was in another country how would they react. The female had immediately started crying at just the thought and the male had panicked. I loved him so much but I knew I still had my own needs and wants and I was still an individual. I wonder why I didn't feel more upset but I wasn't complaining I would see him today. I would see my pack today as well and I couldn't wait we had been away for to long. We boarded our jet and we were back on our way to our territory.
