Chapter 5

2 months later
Pearls POV
I have been in contact with my parents for two months and so far only they know where I am and what I've been doing with all the new Alpha responsibilities being thrown at me by the council. My due date is in three days time so my family members including my mam, Dad and two older brothers are going to be here for the arrival of my daughters. "Alpha there are 4 unidentified wolves in town near the post office, there's one female and three males all with luggage" said Wendy as she is the one with patrol duty today. "Lead them to the house in human form but make sure no one sees which way they leave town" I said through the mindlink before sitting back in my office chair and waiting for our guests to arrive.

"Alpha the unidentified wolves are at the front of the house" said Wendy through the mind link. I then cut the link and made my way outside towards the garden. When I arrived at the garden I saw my mom dad and both my brothers looking out of place as some of the warriors surrounded them in their wolf forms. "Hi Mam, hi Dad, Hi Craig, Hi Gary" I said as I came out of the building to look at the family I haven't seen for six months. "Alpha you know these people" Wendy asked. "Yes Wendy this is my family I invited them here for the birth of my daughters" I said and then all of the warriors backed away before returning in their human forms. "Welcome parents and brothers of the Alpha if you will follow me to the rooms you will be in while you are staying here" said Elie as she and some of the other girls took their bags. They followed to put their stuff away and then we all gathered in the living room to catch up. "Pearl I'm so glad you invited us this pack seems to be doing well and from all the gossip in town having werewolves here seems to be an advantage" said my dad. "Oh dear I'm so proud of you for finally finding your Alpha spirt" Mam continued. "But I don't understand if you are both Alphas then how come you were a third in commands" I asked confusedly. "Well we were on the run so hid our Alpha status from the pack because there was already an established family when we had your brothers and then you. We were planning to take over but decided against that because we wanted piece" my Mam said cautiously as myself and my pack listened and suddenly I felt water drip down my legs. "Oh no Alpha your water broke, quickly to the infirmary and please everyone don't crowd" Lacey said as she led me to the the Infirmary as Clara and my parents followed after us while everyone else waited in the living room.

"Alright Alpha find a position you feel is most comfortable and then count the time between each contraction" Lacey said hurriedly as she paced the room waiting for me to relax. Once I was relaxed the contractions hit hot and heavy. "Okay Alpha I need to ask two people in to help me who would you prefer" asked Lacey as my contractions started to get closer together. " My Mom and Clara" I said and tears started to gather in my eyes due to the pain. "Okay alpha I'm going to need you to push" Lacey yelled and I started pushing as My mom and Clara came to assist. "Okay Alpha first pup is out what's her name" asked Lacey as my first born pup starts to cry. "Her name is Emerald Scarlet" I said proudly as she gave her to my mom so she could clean her. "Alright alpha the second pup is out what's her name" asked Lacey as she handed her to Clara. "Her name is Diamond Scarlet" I spoke proudly as she was given to my mom. I continued to push as I knew I had at least two more pups to birth. "Okay Alpha the third pup is out what's her name" Lacey asked as she moved the third pup over to my mom and Clara. "Her name is Safire Scarlet" I said just as proudly as the first two. "Alright Alpha the fourth pup is out what's her name" asked Lacey. "Her name is Ruby Scarlet" I said then sighed as I thought the birth was over. "Alpha keep pushing I see another head" Lacey yelled at me as I started to relax but then started to push again and finally I herd a cry and the a gasp. "Alpha this pup is male so what's his name" Lacey asked. "His name is Quartz Scarlet" I said proudly. "All done alpha get some rest" Lacey spoke as my eyes started to flutter closed.

I awoke later to the sound of screams as well as baby's crying. "What's going on" I asked as I awoke to see my mom and dad and brothers holding five baby's between them. "Well dear you fell asleep after you had your quintuplets and after that Clara went into labour, she should be finished now I don't hear anymore screams" mom said. "So how have you been dear other than the fact that you've just given birth to five beautiful pups" asked my dad. "I have been good Scotland has treated myself and my pack with great care, the humans here are all so nice too" I said to them. "That's good but has your pack had any problems since you formed" asked Craig worriedly as I got given two of my five pups to hold. "No problems yet we've had piece for the last six months. "I hate to say this but in accordance with werewolf law you must give up Quartz to your ex-mate as he is his first born son and heir to his Alpha throne" my dad said.

"I would like to see my son please" i asked. He was then handed to me by my dad. Once he was in my arms I looked down at my son he had a tuft of jet black hair and as he opened his eyes they were forest green he also had a cute button nose. He is a little small for an alpha baby though but I guess that's because he is the youngest of five in the litter. "I request that when you take him back with you he is treated right and always make sure he stays humble and that being an Alpha doesn't go to his head. Also make sure he treats everyone with respect no matter their Gender or rank and make sure he knows I will always love him from the bottom of my heart" I spoke softly as tears trickled down my face as I will have to say goodbye to my one and only baby boy. "Mommy loves you and always will my sweet Quartz" I spoke gently as I rocked him in my arms. A few days after that my family left with Quartz and Clara's son Jake Bell it's all because of that stupid law that males get their first born sons. Her daughters are called Zoe Bell and Chloe Bell.

Rex's POV
My ex-mates parents get back today from their family vacation, I wonder where they went. "We're home" yelled Hannah as she and her mate walked into the pack house with their sons and I caught two unfamiliar scents. "Welcome back Hannah and family I see you have two more people with you" said my mom the Luna. "I need to see the future Alpha and Future Beta an their parents, I will also need Clara's parents and then we will reveal who we have with us" Hannah said softly. My mom then spoke through the mind link requesting me, my beta, my father and my betas parents. We then all gathered in the main living room of the pack. "Now will you tell is who you brought with you" my mom asks. "Well this past week we were staying with Pearl and her new pack" Hannah said and I was ready to jump at the mention of her name. "She is the Alpha of her pack and Clara is the Beta they invited us there for the birth of their daughters. At the time Clara was only expecting two female pups and Pearl was expecting four female pups. We were their for the births and both had a surprise pup, Pearl gave birth to five pups and one was a male she named her youngest pup Quartz Scarlet. Clara on the other Hand gave birth to three pups one was male and she named her youngest Jake Bell. Who we have with us are the heirs to the packs alpha and beta thrones" said Hannah as she presented two male babies wrapped in blue blankets. "We present to you the son of the future Alpha Quartz Scarlet and the son of the future Beta Jake Bell" Pearls dad said. "Wait you said they had more pups why did you only bring back their sons" my father asked.

"Well it's to do with the law of the werewolves that if a mate rejects the other but then the female gets pregnant, she must give to him his first born son" Hannah said. "Wait can you tell me what their other pups are called" I asked. "Pearls female pups are called Emerald Scarlet, Diamond Scarlet, Safire Scarlet and Ruby Scarlet. And if you count Quartz she named them after precious stones. Clara on the other hand named her pups Zoe Bell, Chloe Bell and her son Jake Bell" said Craig as he looked at me scornfully. I can't believe I have pups but only get to raise one of them.
