Chapter 4: Kyle's POV
I woke up to loud yelling outside my window. I got up to look outside. I see about 100 screaming girls outside the hotel holding signs and jumping up and down. Then I see someone and immediately recognize who it is. It's one of those guys from Kat's favorite YouTube channel. I'm almost positive that it's Jc Caylen. Kat has the biggest crush on him and I've always been jealous.
I decide not to wake her up. I don't want her to meet him. I take a quick shower and pull up my black skinny jeans and throw on a random red shirt. then I wake up Kat.
"Kat wake up!!!!!!" I say and playfully throw a pillow at her. She throws it back harder.
"I should've seen that coming", we both laughed.
I sat on my bed with a cup of coffee waiting for her to finish getting ready. I look put the window and all the girls are gone along with that Jc guy. Kat walked out if the bathroom looking more beautiful than ever. I notice she's wearing the necklace I gave her for her last birthday, it has a little flying bird on it. It warms my heart to see she likes it.
"We ready to go?" Kat asks.
" Yeah lemme just grab my phone", I answer.
As soon as we get in the breakfast shop my stomach drops. I see those six guys from YouTube. I lead her to a table as far away as possible from them. With her back facing them I could see what there doing. I get even more nervous when I see them getting up to leave. I just realized they have to pass our table to leave and I know she'll see them. And there they go.
"Oh my god is that our2ndlife?!?!?"
I see one of the guys turn around.
"Why yes, yes it is", the guy with blonde spiky hair says. Curse him.
"OMG I CANT EVEN I LIKE LIVE OFF OF YOU GUYS!!!!! I mean pssh I'm cool totally cool yeah....can I get a picture with you guys?" she asks.
"Of course!!" Jc says. I only know his name because of how much Kat talks about him.
"Thanks! Kyle you wanna join?" she asks me.
"No it's fine I'll take the picture", I say. "Say cheese!!" I say acting like everything is fine. I see that Jc is a little to close to Kat for my liking. I quickly take the photo and hand Kat's phone back to her.
"Hey why don't you send that to us. I think it's a pretty good picture", says one guy with orangy-blonde hair.
"Um..sure but I need your guys' numbers", says Kat with a smile.
"Just give me yours and I'll start a group chat later and you can send it", Jc says.
"Oh ok yeah, sounds good", Kat says entering her phone number in to Jc's phone. I cringed at the thought of them ever texting flirty stuff to one another. ugh.
"So why don't we hang out some other time, you guys seem pretty cool", one guy with dark hair says, smiling.
"Yea totally sure, how about tomorrow we meet at one for lunch at In and Out Burger? Is that fine Kyle?" she asks. I nod.
"Great sounds like a plan, until tomorrow", the youngest looking one says.
"Bye guys", Kat and I say.
