Chapter 24

Chapter 24: Kat's POV

the rest of the time that everyone's gone we just talk about random things and watch tv. in the middle of an episode of 'Full House' I hear my phone buzz on the table next to me. I pick it up and read the text from the unknown number:

'hey it's Jason number 14 on that soccer team. Do you think you can make it to the game next Sunday?'

I just stare at it for a few seconds, thinking about it.

"hey guys do you think were doing anything on Sunday, in the afternoon?" I ask Cece and Bella who are zoned out watching tv.

"um I don't think so," Cece says looking up.

"as far as I know we've got nothing planned," Bella echoes.

"ok thanks," I text back Jason saying:

'hey and I think I can come just save a spot either way:)'

I click send and put my phone down on the table again. not even two seconds after that he answers.

'oh okay I will, great! see ya there..maybe haha'

I don't respond and just lay my phone down on the table again, and continue to watch tv.

~some time passes~

when I get bored of the tv I get up and walk upstairs to the spare room which is where I keep some spare clothes because I'm always here. I pick out my second favorite white high waisted shorts and a plain blue cropped top. I lay them on my toilet seat cover and hop in the shower. once I get out I ring my hair out really good and throw it up in to a messy bun. after that I dry the rest of myself and put on the clothes I picked out. I walk down the stairs as look at the time

'3:56'

"ok they should be home in

about an hour, if not than less," I say to the girls when I walk back in the room.

"okaay" they say and we continue to talk and watch tv.

• 1 hour later•

"hey guys were homeeee!!!!!" Kian shouts."are you dead?!?!?"

"hi Kian and no were not dead were fine," Andrea, Jenn, and Rebecca come and give me hugs. then Jc does.

"hi, I missed you," I say to him as he wraps his hands around my waist.

"I missed you more," he says kissing my cheek. I turn my head upwards so my lips meet his and we stay like that for a while getting a few 'ooh's and 'ahh's from everyone. I pull away and blush.

"oh shut up,"

after everyone tells Cece, Bella, and I what happened I get up to put my bowl in the sink. when I do I feel a presence behind me. I turn around and see Kian coming towards me looking worried.

"Andrea told me what she saw, and I think I've figured out who she might be,"

"oh really? who?"

"Andrea's sister that she stopped talking to a few years ago,"

"why do you think so?"

"because the way she described her and why else would she have gotten so upset over it if she wasn't close with that girl?"

"I guess your right,"

"I want to try and find her and get that guy in jail,"

"yea this is good lets do that,"

"okay when should we start?"

"tomorrow," I say.

"alright then, Tuesday it is," he says smiling.

I smile back and we walk back to the living room where everyone's watching tv. I join Jc on the couch and start munching on some chips that were left on the couch from last night.
