Chapter 12

Chapter 12: Kat's POV

I can't believe I just told him that and showed him my scares. But I also think it was time to tell him anyways, I've known him since 3rd grade, I'm going in to collage now and he's still my best friend, and it all started in 7th grade but I didn't tell anyone about my dad and what he did. I made absolutely no friends. The only real friend I had was Kyle. I was to shy to make anymore.

I went to sleep that night thinking to myself, why did I have to be so dramatic and run outside, after Kyle told me he loved me? I guess I was just scared and wanted a reason to tell Kyle about my past.

~next day~

I wake up to a soft snoring sound. I turn around and see that Kyle has made his way in to my bed.

I find it very strange but I don't wanna wake him so I get up without bothering him anyways. Jc texted me that he'll pick me up at 4pm so I still have most of the day to spend with Kyle. I get dressed in some leggings and a sweatshirt with a pair of boots and messy bun. I clear my throat very loudly as a cue for Kyle to get up.

"Um...I can explain," Kyle says sitting up in my bed shirtless. I don't have any feelings for him but zaamm he's got a nice body. Anywho..

"Why did I wake up to find you in my bed??"

"Because in the middle of the night I heard something in hallway that woke me up, and I got scared so I came over to you,"

"Mhm nice try,"

"it was worth a shot,"

We both laugh after that.

"Well, don't just sit there, get ready so we can get bagels,"

"Ok ok I'm getting ready,"

I giggle at how fast he's rushing everywhere to get the things he needs.

"Ok done," he says about 10minutes later.

"Yay let's go!"

~after the bagels~

It's 11pm by the time we finish eating and we go out and explore a little. He took me to see the Hollywood sign and then the walk of fame, it was great!

"Wow it's already 2 o' clock," Kyle says casually.

"WHAT?!?!? I still have to take a shower and get ready for tonight!!!! IVE ONly GOT Two hOURS!!!!!!!" I scream.

"Ok ok let's go then, geez," he says. I giggle.

When we get home I jump in the hot shower as soon as I start washing the soap out of my hair I hear the door open and Kyle walks right in!!!

"KYLE!!!" I screamed."THIS DOOR IS SEE THROUGH GET OUT!!!!"

"relax it's all fogged up anyways and I just grabbing my contacts,"

"Ok well hurry up,"

As soon as he's out I jump out of the shower and put on some sweatpants and my old sweatshirt and let my hair loose pinning up my side bangs. I put on some moccasins and tell Kyle in ready.

"Wow, I always thought you weren't that kind of girl,"

"Jc told me to do this I would've put on jeans and makeup, don't worry,"

"Ok well have a good time on your date, I'll probably see you when you get home so like.....tomorrow??"

"I don't know...maybe" I say blushing. We go outside to wait for Jc. As soon as he gets here I say my goodbyes to Kyle and hop in Jcs car.

"Hey," I say

"Hey there gorgeous,"

"Ugh stop I look like crap,"

"I think you look perfect,"

"Awe that's sweet.." I say blushing at his word perfect. to break the silence he turns up the radio and we start singing and dancing. I was enjoying this date even before we got to his house.
