Chapter 10

Chapter 10: Jc's POV

I hope she thinks I look ok. If she stood next to Jennifer Lawrence right now..she would be the prettier one. And I think JLaw is pretty cute. She just looks so beautiful I want to kiss her and hug her everywhere ugh.

"Ooh this place is nice," Kat said as she stared in awe around the place with her beautiful brown eyes, as we enter the restaurant.

"It's new, it's opened like this April,"

"Ooh that makes it even more pretty in here," she says still in awe. I laughed.

" CAYLEN, PARTY OF 2!!" The worker lady yells. We walk up to her and I said it's me.

"Right this way," she says and smiles.

We walk all the way to the back just like I wanted, so we could be away from all the noise. She gives us menus and leaves us alone to chose our meals.

"Wow were so far away from everyone. I like it," Kat smiles.

"Me, too," I smile back.

"So what are you thinking of getting," I ask Kat breaking the silence.

"Um I think I'll get the shrimp and steak. What are you gonna get?"

"I think I'll get the baby squid things with rice on the side,"

"Oh alright. You can have the baby squid thingys," she laughs. I don't laugh but just simply smile at her smile. She catches me staring and turns her head to face the ground smiling.

"It's cute when you do that,"

Did I really just say that out loud. wow Jc smooth move.

"Thanks," she blushes even more, and giggles. I see a waitress waking over to us. She has bright red hair and looks really happy.

"Hi! My name is Jess and I'll be serving you this evening, would you like to start off with some drinks?" she says.

"Um yeah" I start off saying. "Could I get a coke?"

"Yes you can," she answers.

"And could I get a diet coke?"

"So, coke, diet coke?"

"Yes," I say.

"And are you ready to order your food?"

"Yup," we order our food and wait.

"So, where are you from?" I ask Kat.

"I live in Mississippi but I'm hoping to move here someday,"

"That would be cool, we could hang out a lot more then," I say with a smile.

"Yeah that'd be nice,"

We eat our food, and talk about basic topics.

"Oh wait, before we leave, I'm going to go powder my nose real fast,"

"Ok I'll wait for you,"

I see she left her phone face up and it vibrates.

Hey how's your date going? I know this meant so much to you, and I hope your having a good time with Jc!! see you later. xx'

Kat's walking back and I quickly look away pretending like I looking out the window.

"Ok now we can go," she said holding out the now. I stand up and we lock our hands together and walk out the door.

"Can we sit for a sec? I wanna talk about something," I say

"Sure,"she says sitting on the bench outside the front doors.

"Ok so I just wanna tell you that I had a really fun time today, being with you," I say. I see she that she blushes at the ground. "it's cute when you blush," she blushes even more.

"I had a really fun time being with you to," she says smiling. It's stare at her taking in all her beauty.

"I know this is sort of personal, but do you ever feel insecure about yourself?" I ask hesitantly.

"Sometimes, when I have no makeup on, why?"

"Well, I wanted to maybe go on another date tomorrow at the O2L house, so we can watch movies and hangout and stuff, but you can't wear any makeup and you have to wear sweatpants and a sweatshirt," I stutter.

"Yea sounds like fun! Can I at least wear foundation though?"

"No," I laugh.

"Finnne," she laughs.
