Carly woke up excited the next morning. She couldn't wait to start her lessons. She looked at her clock and groaned. It said '8:30am'. Late on her first day. She jumped up and ran around pulling on her uniform then saw Marley sleeping.
"MARLEY GET UP QUICK! NO TIME FOR BREAKFAST!" She yelled from the bathroom. She heard a bang and someone frantically running around as well. Carly pulled on her tie and robes and waved her hand to make her hair nice and normal. She ran into the room and saw, luckily, Marley was dressed as well. "Let's go!"
They ran out of the common room and all the way to the great hall, Severus was just leaving the great hall.
"Professor!" Carly yelled as she ran up to him.
"I was wondering where you two were. Here are your schedules." He handed them both a schedule and then left.
"That was lucky, at Carly?" Marley nudged her.
"Yeh it was." They both looked at their schedule for that day.
Monday ====>
9:00 am --> 11:00am = Charms
11:00am --> 11:30am = Break
11:30am--> 1:30pm = Transfiguration
1:30pm --> 2:30pm = Lunch
2:30pm --> 3:30pm = Potions
3:30pm --> 4:30pm = Herbology
"Let's go then. We've got five minutes to get to charms." Spoke Marley. So they rushed off down the corridor and quickly sat either side of Chester just before the class started.
"I thought you wouldn't make it." Chester whispered.
"Well I don't like to disappoint." Smirked Carly. She got her stuff out and they listened to a long lecture/introduction to charms for the next two hours.
Everyone was glad when the be finally rang. Carly sighed and chucked her stuff into her bag. Carly, Marley and Chester made their way down to the black lake for break, it was quite warm in the charms classroom.
"Wow. That was really boring." Marley laughed as she lay down. "Did you see Flitwick nearly fall over when he saw your name?" The three laughed and all lay down.
"Yeh, that was pretty funny. It's sad that he's so small though, I bet people really mess with him." Carly muttered.
"Probably." Chester shrugged. The sun finally made an appearance from behind a cloud but Carly felt a shadow loom over her.
"What are you doing Potter?" Asked the annoying voice of Draco Malfoy.
"Damn! I was trying to hide from you. Pity it didn't work." Carly smirked as she opened her eyes.
"How dare you! Filthy half-blood." Draco growled.
The three stood up and glared at Draco.
"I really don't care what you say to me Malfoy. It's not offensive." She laughed.
"Whatever you say Potter." Draco lifted his chin and walked off with his gorillas.
"He really thinks he's something, does that one." Carly seethed as they made their way back up to the castle. "What was the point in even coming over to me?"
"He's such a stuck up idiot. Let's just ignore him." Chester spoke. The girls nodded and they were off to transfiguration. They got to the class and met McGonogal once again. They practiced turning a matchstick into a needle.
