The next morning, Carly was awoken by Severus. It was the day for them to go to muggle London. Carly was quite excited and quickly got up and got dressed in record time. She got Severus to transfigure her some white denim short shorts, pink converse and a pink long sleeve shirt that she tucked into her shorts.

"Severus? When are we going?" She whined. She was getting seriously impatient.

"Eat your breakfast first." He snapped at her. She rolled her eyes and stuck her tongue out at him before nibbling her crumpets. "I saw that."

"You were meant to." Carly grumbled. Severus sighed and stood up.

"Let's go then." Carly jumped up excitedly and ran to the floo. Severus walked up to the fireplace. Carly stared at what he was wearing, he had an emerald green shirt on with some black jeans and some loafers. The shirt made his toned body stick out more.

"Do ya know Severus. That outfit makes you look gooood." She smirked. Severus whipped round with a surprised face.

"You are eleven years old!" He hissed. She shrugged and giggled.

"Just saying. It's better than the boring black robes. Muggle clothes suit you." She answered. He grumbled something under his breath and handed her the pouch of floo powder.

"We are going to the leaky cauldron." He droned. She happily stepped into the fireplace and grabbed some powder.

"The Leaky Cauldron!" She shouted. She was spun around and her elbow painfully hit something before she, once again, crashed to the floor. "Merlin's sake, I hate this." She moaned whilst getting up. She turned around and Severus arrived in the floo.

"Severus?" He walked towards her a nodded. "My elbow hit something really hard." She grimaced as she cradled her elbow. He sighed and gently grabbed it. He muttered a spell and waved his wand in a circle around the fracture and Carly immediately felt better. "Thanks you Severus." She beamed.

"Pleasure is all mine." He replied sarcastically.

"Ok, enough of the sarcasm, let's go." Severus was surprised when Carly grabbed his wrist and pulled him out onto the pavement outside the leaky cauldron. "Don't worry, I know where I'm going, there was a map in my cupboard so I always read London's area."

"In your what?" Severus pulled Carly to a stop and pulled his wrist away.

"Erm...my cupboard." She repeated. "I slept in there and stuff." She mumbled.

"Why the hell would they keep you in a cupboard." He seethed. What animals! Keeping a young girl in a cupboard.

"I don't know. Can we just forget about it?" She snapped. Severus didn't want to but knew it was for the best anyway.

"Ok. Let's get going before the shops shut." Severus monotoned. Carly grinned and, once again, pulled him by his wrist towards London's town.

They walked for about half an hour and Carly squealed as they came into view of the palace.

"It's Buckingham Palace Severus!" She exclaimed whilst pointing. Severus looked up and saw the large white building behind big black gates and fencing.

"Indeed it is." He nodded and walked up to Carly to grab HER wrist instead. "Come along then, we have shopping to do." He knew that sounded wrong as spoon as he said it. Carly burst out laughing.

"Jeez Severus, you sounded like an excited woman then!" She gasped. He grumbled again and pulled her along.

After a while, they finally got to a shopping area, it was a large shopping centre and Carly was quite excited. They walked peacefully next to each other and Carly loved looking in all the shops.

"All these shops are really expensive! If I want loads of clothes, we need to find a Primark or something like that." She huffed.

"I don't know what your talking about." Carly sighed and just started walking off, so Severus had to follow. They did find a Primark and Carly seemed quite happy actually.

They spent about 3hours in the 4 level shop and she brought many things with only £150. She still had £50 left.

She had brought 3 onesies, a minion Onesie, a 'Where's Wally?' Onesie and a penguin onesie. Also, she had brough 2 pairs of (not real) Ugg boots (light brown and black), many tops and bottoms and 2 coats, along with a mountain of undertops, socks and pants.

She happily left the store and Severus sneakily sent the bags back to Hogwarts.

"Wow, I got loads from there. I still have £50 Severus. I need a footlocker, republic, JD or Bank, so I can get some Puma suede trainers, preferably pink." Carly stated.

"I don't know what or where any of them shops are." Severus smirked.

"Ergh. Let's just walk around, we will find one somewhere." So off they went again. They spent an hour looking and do all they found a footlocker store. Carly stared at all of the lovely trainers. She happily skipped towards the Puma's and looked through them all.

Severus took a seat on a lather bench and waited, he vowed never to go shopping with an eleven year old girl, ever again.

Carly tried on 10 different colours and sizes of the same type trainer before picking a pair she fell in love with. The shoes were a bright pink, but the laces were a baby blue and the line going around the shoe was a glittery baby blue. She adored them and they were £45 so she had enough.

She payed for them and left the shop carrying the 'Little Clever Bag.' She wouldn't let Severus take it.

"We should get lunch now Carly and then we can go back." She nodded sharks and they made their way into a nearby Starbucks Café.

They each had a chicken sandwich, Carly had a hot chocolate and Severus had a coffee. They ate in silence but Carly couldn't take it any longer so she struck up a conversation.

"What did you think about today Severus?" She smiled at him. She could see that he hated shopping.

"It was ok." He stated and tried to read the newspaper. Carly grinned and pulled the paper from his hands. He grumbled and glared at her.

"Now now Severus. We are here to have a day out, not to read the muggle news." He muttered to himself as he went to the toilet. She laughed and stood up to wait for him. "Finally." She said after ten minutes. "I thought you had fell in."

"No Carly I did not. I was just trying to get some time alone". He remarked.

"In a toilet?" She smirked. His face went red, with embarrassment and slightly anger. He pulled her from the shop as she grinned. They made their hour long walking trip back to the Leaky Cauldron.

"I really had fun today Severus". Carly said, once they were back in their quarters.

"Good." He stated as he enlarged the shopping bags. "You might as well put all this stuff away." He ordered lightly.

"I didn't know you cared." She grabbed the bags and, after three trips, they were all in her room.
