'Harry are you sure you don't want to come this year?' Ron asked for the millionth time that morning.

'Yes, Ron. I've told you already, everything is settled. I know that the Burrow is a lot of fun at Christmas but I've promised Ella that this Christmas will be different.'

' But Harry everyone's gonna is disappointed.' Ron whimpered putting his maroon-gold scarf on top of his robes.

' Don't worry I'll visit you on Christmas day. I'll send Hermione an owl so you know when to expect me.' Harry took all his clothes from his trunk and threw them all around the bed just to start to pack them back in all over again.

Hermione entered their dorm and hugged Ron with a kiss before sighing at a sight of Harry messing with his clothes.

' Here. Let me do it.' she took Harry's hands off of the clothes and the trunk and with a swish of her wand every single piece of clothing neatly settled inside, now full, trunk.

' Thank you.' Harry muttered scratching his neck.

' No problem. ' Hermione smiled at him as they two walked to the door. Ron was still fighting with his trunk but one more move with Hermione's wand and his problem was solved, too.

They walked downstairs and sat in their usual place in front of the fireplace. Neville and Dean were already there so they just sat beside them. Five friends watching the fire flames that were lazily dragging themselves along the back of the fireplace.

' I'll miss this place when we leave.' Dean said and sighed.

' Yeah, we all will.' Harry accepted 'All the memories and fights and just all emotions that happened in Hogwarts... It's just a part of who we are-'

' And when you take a part of someone the person is never whole again.' Ginny finished for him. She sat on the edge of the sofa but Hermione just made it bigger so she could sit next to her. now there were six of them. Six Gryffindors.

'Hogwarts was always like a home to me, not quite a home but you guys, you were my family' Harry smiled at all of them.

' In Hogwarts, we were all family' Hermione replied.

' You know that you're including Slytherins in that family of yours? ' Ron asked leaning forward and holding his head in his hands.

' Every family has good and bad in it.' Hermione just replied and cuddled into Ron.

Harry looked around the common room at people laughing and teasing each other and it really looked like a family. Happy family. But it wasn't just his family, it was their family and they all made so many memories together.

He knew he will never forget Hogwarts. Never. But somewhere deep inside him, there was a voice telling him that he will never leave so he will never forget. He gazed over the foggy day outside and imagined just how much stuff his brain will have to process before he crushes against the hard, cold bottom of the Astronomy tower.

' Can I sit here? Everywhere else is full...' Draco explained sliding the door behind him.

The train was long driving when he sat on the seat beside Harry and smiled at Hermione and Ron who sat on the seat opposite of him.

'So, Draco, are you going home for Christmas? ' Hermione asked politely.

' Well, he's on the train. Of course, he's going home' Ron rolled his eyes.
