Chapter Nine: Tis the Season to be screamin'

(MUST READ!!! BEFORE YOU GET TOO INTO THIS CHAPTER, READ THE FIRST THREE CHAPTERS OF NICK JONES AND THE SEARCH FOR A SOULMATE, EVERYTHING WILL MAKE MUCH MORE SENSE, BEING AS HE WILL BE A BIG PART OF THE STORY AND THE GIRLS AND JACK WILL APPEAR IN THAT SERIES TOO, NOTE THAT I AM WRITING THAT SERIES ALONE, BUT THIS ONE IS WITH fire1999, THANK YOU)

Grace wasn't sure how she had gotten herself into this mess, she hadn't even had her coffee yet....

both her and Ally both had jobs, yet somehow Ally had dragged her into this mess, calling a sick day, which Grace was 99.99% sure Ally's boss didn't believe her but let her have the day off cuz she's cool with Ally, whereas Ally had threatened Grace's boss across the phone, pissed as heck, to get Grace a day off....

after that, Grace definitely wasn't expecting Ally to take her to the closest mall, since Ally hated malls, unless they were going to her geeky stores, so imagine Grace's surprise when Ally applied to another job for the day, dragging Grace with her, and then shoved Grace in whatever stupid costume she had to wear...

it was an elf costume... they were working with a mall Santa... and Ally somehow managed to still get a punked out costume??? whereas her's happened to be sparkly pink and pine tree green... these had to be custom made, in fact she was nearly sure this is what was in that package that came yesterday for Ally...

You know what?
Grace is 1000% done...
Ally planned all of this and set it up, she was positive.

She looked at the Santa, just minutes from the mall opening. She couldn't help but stare in disgust, he was most definitely either higher then mars, or drunk as heck... she wasn't sure which was worse for someone who was going to be supposedly giving out Christmas cheer to kids, and listening to what they want for this special holiday.

She sighed, as he, once again, had to pull his pants up, snorting like an idiot... glancing over at Ally, she noticed Ally seemed to want to strangle the guy with the tinsel she was fixing on the sign, she almost seemed to have an anime dark aura surrounding her... Grace wondered how the Santa hadn't noticed it.

this looked to be a disaster in the making, a pissed Ally, herself not having her coffee yet, and a drunk Santa.... not to mention hundreds of kids coming as soon as the door of the mall opens... this was going to be a headache, or the death of Grace Rogi, may she be ever remembered in the memories of her adored dog, Asuna.

Of course when she thought it couldn't get any worse, when things were up and going, and 'Santa' was on his 67 child (yes she was counting, do you have any idea how numbskullingly boring it can be?) it turned out children hated her... whereas they adored Ally.

anyway, when he was on his 67 child, 'Santa' took a swing of whatever he was keeping tucked in his belt, with the child still on his lap, about to tell Santa what he wants, and Grace could only just freeze in horror as the scene unfolded in front of her.

"Kid, I don't honestly care, honestly even for a bunch of kids, you're all pretty stupid, come on! some guy living at the north pole with a work shop? please!" he ranted, causing kids to start crying and parent start complaining,  as rage flooded through Grace at incomparable speeds...

Ally looked like she was going to kill the man, even Grace knew how much Christmas meant to the girl, even her, herself, was ready to kill the idiot sitting on a throne of disappointment. He wouldn't even shut his trap, he just kept digging himself deeper, and the kid wasn't off his lap yet, though it was hard to get to the child, being as all of the other children were causing a riot, so it was hard to navigate through the crowd.

Like two shooting stars though, it seemed Ally did some sort of routine of gymnastics, doing a back hand spring and other things that Grace couldn't name, and managed to get the child off of the idiot's lap, while at the same time a hoard of cats knocked the guy into the fountain behind him.

welp... Jack was here.... 

she was unsure whether or not that was a good or bad thing.....

It turned out to be a neutral thing, Jack had the guy banned from the mall, surprisingly already had a Santa suit on, and took the guys place. So now it was him working with Ally and herself, and she was unsure about how to feel about that, but she supposed it was alright since the guy never drank a drop of alcohol in his life.

Of course everything went downhill when some guy with a great Dane decided to show up and chase all however many number of cats Jack had, thus causing another ruckus...

kids were screaming, parents were trying to find their kids in the mass of cats running away from the dog, and children scattering to chase the cats in elf costumes. Jack and Grace attempted to round up the cats, but Grace hadn't seen Ally when she was running around...

She heard the guy trying to get the dog back on a leash, spouting out words in... French? She was about to go up to him and scold him for having a loose collar on a big dog,  when she spotted ally... on top of the sign, with the dog barking up at her... and she was hissing at the dog...

everything went into slow motion then... The red headed guy bumped into the sign, knocking Ally off, who in turn, fell on the guy as they both tumbled into the fountain in a very.... how shall she say this? compromising position...

Now was when she decided to intervene, being as they were both a blushing mess, and couldn't get up and kept falling back into the position... She gripped the poor guy's ear with vigor and yanked him away from the red mess that was left of her roommate and she pulled him away while chewing him out, while the chaos continued.

needless to say, they..... we suspended from going to that mall................

sorry for not updating in a while, I've been pretty busy with seeing doctors and getting ready for Christmas, not to mention my writers block.
