Flashback begins

Eileen Cardenas, star girl of slider's high. A freshman but already her name is in mouths of every senior. I mean, cheerleading, own art club and 100k subscribers on youtube channel gets you that at least. Oh which girl doesn't wanna be friends with her. And which boy doesn't wanna be with her. That's right, Eileen is everything you would want to have in the first year of high school.

          But gladly, Eileen is just as nice on the inside as she is on outside. Her heart is pure. She is kind to everyone, almost. Everyone knows Eileen has no attitude or pride over her accomplishments, but everyone also knows that just because she isn't mean, doesn't mean she can't be. Ever since she kicked a sophomore in the balls for cat-calling on her on the first day of high school, that thing was fixed in everyone's minds.

          She is surely a hell of a friend, that is, if you are friends with her; and a hell of an enemy, that is, of course, if you dare mess with her.

         But the thing is that the girl every freshmen has crush on, actually has a crush on someone else.

         Who could it be? Oh I'm glad you asked.

       He is the one and only Grayson Dolan, viner turned youtuber with 2 million subscribers, football jock and every girl's everything. Maybe teachers might not like him much, he is a star in the corridors. His looks will make you faint, and his deep voice will be following you in your dreams.

       Grayson Dolan is the only one who has even more attention than Eileen. While she made her highschool fame through her hardwork , he simply got it as everyone was excited to see an internet sensation in their school.

       But Eileen isn't jealous of him, not a bit. All she knows is they are meant to be together. Star couple of slider's high.

          Maybe calling it a crush won't be enough now, as Eileen has had that crush on him since first grade. Now, it was something more.

Eileen's POV begins

        I fix my long dark hair in the mirror on the door of my locker. As I grab my books, I'm suddenly reminded, abby hasn't come yet. Where is she?

        I  smile in satisfaction as I see my bestie friend Abby walking towards me.

         No, my mind isn't fixed on Grayson all the time.

        "I thought you wouldn't come"

      "When do I ever skip school?" Abby says raising an eyebrow.

     "True"

       Oh wait, you don't know Abby yet.

      Abigail Hotzel, A+ student and best friend of mine.  Abby and I have been best friends since kindergarten. Abby is the perfect student, teachers' favourite. She is topping grades all the way. I can honestly not match her. You see what I don't like to do is study for tests. I do take my studies seriously and pass every class too ok. But I believe in living life too.

       Not a lot has changed since middle school. Abby is still topping grades, even in high school. My confidence is what got me, my 100k subscribers and my passion for art took me to make my own art club. We have our ups and downs, but abbleen is still alive and well.

     And for all you need to know, we are on very good terms for now.

     Now let's get back to real life?

     As more students arrive, the corridors get more and more busy.

       I look at my watch, 5 minutes til the bell rings.
