I slowly open up my eye lids. Then when I realize where I really am, I open them up wide, and sit up fast. "Woa...it's ok, Lily. You're alive!" Finnick says and kisses me.

Oh god I missed that.

"Lillian! You're alive we were all so worried about you!" I hear a voice from behind.

"Sakhaia! Stanley!" I say and hug them both.

"Hey kiddo. Your ok." Stanley says beside me. I smile at him.

I get settled and comfortable a bit before even speaking.

"Finnick, all I really remember is Aidan slitting my throat...how am I alive..?" I ask.

"I killed Aidan the moment I saw him on you. No one kills you with me around." Finnick jokes. I suddenly remember it all then.

Sakhaia grabs my arm but I wince. "Ow! Sakhaia.... That hurt..." I say.

"Sorry, Lillian. I wanted to show you something. I caught my first lizard on a snare!" She says proudly. "Oh, Sakhaia! That's incredible! Let's see how he tastes." I tease and she goes over to get the animal.

"Let me see how that arm of yours is.. Maggs couldn't send much but the medicine for you're throat." Finnick says and looks at my arm.

"Ow!" I say.

"Stanley! ..this isn't good.." Finnick shouts for Stanley as he comes rushing over.

"That's not good.... We need medicine. Another sponsor..." Stanley says.

"What are we all worried about it's just my wounded arm...." I insist.

"Lillian.....it's not just wounded.... You got it infected, and its running in you're bloodstream." Stanley says.

"How do you know..."

"My mother. She's a doctor. She taught me some stuff when I was little. I know, Lillian. This is not good you could die from this..." Stanley says.

We all sit down for a moment, until we head an announcement. Announcements never happen. Maybe a few times but no, it's very rare when an announcement comes on in the hunger games.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we have laid out all kinds of things in the cornicopia each district desperately....NEEDS." Is all I hear before Finnick says,

"I'll get it. You guys stay here. I need to confrot Cato sooner or later anyways.."

"No." I firmly say.

"Excuse me...?"

"No one is risking their lives for me. No one. Especially you guys. I'm fine. See?" I say and give a weak smile.

"Stand up." Stanley tests me. I do as told and stand up.

"I'm fine!" I say again but he doesn't even move.

"Walk."

It's not long after I take my first few steps, thinking I have it, I fall. Finnick catches me though and lays me down.

"I'll be back, don't worry. Keep safe." Stanley starts to leave but before he gets any further, I take a knife and throw it at the tree next to him.

"You. Aren't. Going. Anywhere." I say very sternly.

"You know, you could've killed me."

"Did you hear me?"I ask. Once Stanley sees I will not let anyone leave, he finally says

"Ok... Fine..." Stanley sits back down with Sakhaia and looks at the animal she caught.

"Get some sleep, Lily Pad. I'll be here." Finnick says. I cuddle up next to him, and try fall asleep. Finnick kisses my forehead and whispers "sweet dreams."
