Jacob Danu was my boyfriend before I got kidnapped. We had been friends since we were little, my parents and his parents are close friends and we had been dating for a year and two months, he was a class higher than me in school and what do I have to say about our relationship? Worth it.
*6 MONTHS EARLIER BEFORE I WAS KIDNAPPED*
The heavenly scent of freshly made food filled my nose, my imagination was going wild. "What could this be?" I thought. On the day of our one year anniversary of being together, Jacob promised to surprise me in such a way that I had never seen before. Here we are, a blindfolded Lizzie with an unknown path in front of her.
"Can I open them now?" I asked Jacob curiously. I felt his arms moving a little farther from me.
"Just wait for a second, babe." he said moving farther away from me. I suddenly felt all alone in my curiosity "This better be worth it." I thought to myself
"OPEN THEM!!" Jacob shouted over the top of his voice. I removed the blindfold over my eyes fast in order to kill this curiosity that was choking me. My very eyes were set on the most beautiful view I had ever seen. The walls filled with different pictures of Jacob and I and the booming smell that seemed to follow you around. I took a few steps further to have a better look at the very tree house my siblings and I built about 2 years ago, the whole decoration left me speechless and at the very center of the room laid a table with two reserved seats with a wide screen in front of it.
I ran over and gave Jacob the biggest hug I had ever given a person. "Thank you" I whispered holding him tightly.
This very tree house changed a lot after a storm hit our house about a year ago, the whole structure of it changed. Seeing how different it is now brought back a lot of memories.
"Did you do this?" I asked him wiping a tear from my eye. I couldn't hold it back.
"With the help of your amazing siblings, yes." He said looking at me while smiling.
I hugged him again "This means so much to me." I said as I looked at him
"Hey! Hey! Don't get too emotional let's enjoy this day first." He said as he released his arms from mine. " Have a seat." He suggested as he held the seat for me.
I smiled like I never had before.
