The next morning, breakfast was called early. Everyone was expected to be down by 8am. We usually used the largest room in the hall to have breakfast, considering the size of everyone. I left earlier to breakfast before Angie, she said something about coming down later. I put my hair into a bun and wore my shorts with a plain shirt that said Nike on it. On my way downstairs, I decided to change my mind and follow the elevator instead, as I got closer to the elevator, I noticed that it was about to close.
"WAIT!! " I shouted
I ran quickly to meet up with the elevator. Inside the elevator was a tall guy, who had bright eyes. He was alone.
"Thanks for holding it for me." I said
"No problem " He smiled."So what's your name?" the guy asked when we came down from the elevator
"Lizzie but Liz for short "
"Oh that's nice, I am Jack" He said back smiling
"That's nice. Are you from this district? "
"Nah. I just came to see a friend, I stayed over. "
"Great."Right before the conversation ended I realised that we had already reached our destination. The room was not so crowded, it seemed like everyone decided to come later after all.
I ate quickly because I wasn't in the mood to stay longer than I had hoped. The food tasted nice, better than that of the previous day. When I looked ahead, I saw Mr. Suba eating with some of his mates, I waved but he didn't see me.
I decided to visit the library to get a book I said I was going to get.
