The library was not far from the hall we had breakfast so I quickly went there.
"Hey Carrie " I greeted Carrie the library keeper when I got in
"Hey, Lizzie. Want anything? " she asked
"Yeah, I just came to check a book out. "
"Alright." She smiled
I went over to the corner that I remembered taking the book from, I looked at the very spot that the book was. It was gone.
"Wait, wasn't this book here yesterday?! " I thought.
I looked for another 2 minutes I found nothing.
"Looking for this? " A voice called out to me. It was Jack
Wait, how did he finish eating before me?
"Oh yeah. Thanks. I was looking for that. "
"I figured " he said handing the book to me
"If you are reading it, you don't have to give it to me. " I said
"Nah, I am done. I came over to the library yesterday and spotted someone that looked like you coming over here."
"And you thought I came for the book. "
"Yep."
"Thanks though " I said taking the book from him
" No problem." He said smiling
Why does he keep smiling?
After it all, I went back to the room, it was then that I realized that I felt so sleepy. When I got back to the room, I realised that Angie was still in bed
"Babes, aren't you going to have breakfast. " I asked
"Probably. How was it? "
"It was okay. It tasted nicer than that of yesterday." I said as I layed on my bed
"I hope."
After a couple minute of silence, I couldn't help but ask Angie
"Hey, do you know Jack? " I asked
"Yeah. He is Mr Suba's son. "
