"Katie? Right?"
"This can't be happening,"
"I'm afraid so,"
"Can't I just go back?"
"I'm afraid that's too late, dear."
I looked up at Lance standing in front of me, my heart beating faster. "I'm sorry," he frowned.
I furrowed my eyebrows, "you are?"
He bit his lip and nodded, "you were right. I'm not very nice to you."
I looked away from him, knowing that Dan would be here soon. All for nothing. Maybe I was the problem. Dan didn't deserve me, and I didn't deserve someone as pure as him.
Yet here we were, stuck in this triangle of hate. I knew that I needed to get out of this as quickly as I could. I couldn't live my life with Dan at my feet and Lance at my throat.
"You called him didn't you?" He asked and cupped my cheek with his hand lightly.
I nodded and bit the inside of my cheek nervously. Knowing that they didn't get along at all.
"I know that in the end you'll choose me," He told me and pushed me back against the kitchen wall with his chest.
I stayed silent as he pressed his warm lips to mine carefully. I wanted to feel something, I really did. But the only thing I felt was empty.
"Kiss me back," he demanded and forced his tongue in between my lips.
I winced at the foreign object as I closed my eyes tightly, "you're not my boyfriend anymore Lance."
"I said kiss me," he repeated himself, ignoring my words as he pushed his body closer to mine.
I knew Dan would be here shortly, so as long as I could hold on until then everything would be fine.
I remained still in my spot as he Lance worked his tongue further into my mouth. The feeling making me cringe, and struggle to pull away.
But I was trapped. Stuck between a horny man and wall. I found myself in these sort of problems more than I would like to admit.
"Stupid girl," he muttered as he moved his lips to my neck, pulling the blood to the surface as he sucked.
I bit my bottom lip tightly between my teeth. Where the hell was Dan? I knew he had a problem with being late, but he was always on time when I needed him.
"Katie?" I heard a voice call out from the front hall.
I looked over at Lance as he left small hickeys all over my neck and collar bone.
"Dan!" I yelled, immediately regretting it.
Lances grip tightened as he held my jaw tightly in his right hand. I didn't know what Dan even had planned, I just hoped he did it soon.
I felt Lances hand leave my jaw and I resorting to keeping my eyes shut in fear. I heard footsteps down the hall as Dan searched for me in contusion.
"Kitchen!" I yelled back at him just before I felt a sharp pain in my thigh.
My eyes shot open as I screamed in pain. I looked down in horror as blood trickled down my leg. Lance let go of me, allowing me to drop to the floor.
The pain shot through my leg, making me feel sick to my stomach. The cut wasn't really that bad, just a small knife slice across my thigh. But somehow it felt so much worse.
"What the fuck did you do?!" Dan grabbed Lance by his shirt as he entered the kitchen, slamming him against the wall furiously.
I bit my lip tightly, tasting small hints blood as it oozed from my chapped lips.
"Play nice," Lance taunted as Dan lifted his fist to his face.
Dan groaned and threw Lance into the side of the fridge, causing it to teeter back and forth.
"Are you alright? What happened?" Dan asked, fear filling his voice.
I nodded, "it's not that bad b-but it hurts."
I looked down at my leg, watching it while Dan fetched something to dress my wound.
"I guess you learned, didn't you. Silly girl. You can't just leave," Lance grinned and pulled himself to his feet, leaving the room as he silently chucked to himself.
