Going To School
Miranda's pov
Daddy says I gotta sign up for school. I'm nervous. When I was little, no one liked me. "I hate school daddy, can't I not go?" "Don't worry. Your mama will be there. She's the principal." "Ok." I go to school and mama hugs me. "You'll have fun."
Willie's pov
Jason and Luke come over. "Where's my favorite niece?" Jason asks, sitting down. "School." "Oh. Man, I hope she's okay." He mumbles. "She'll be fine... Right guys?" They exchange looks. "Of course she will, Willie, don't worry." Here I was telling her not to worry and now here I am!
*a few hours later*
She gets home with Korie. "Uncle Luke! Uncle Jason! What are you doing here?" "Came to visit you youngin." Jason says, ruffling her hair. "Oh daddy can we go to the library today?" "What for?" I ask. "Well there's this boy I made friends with. His name is Hunter and he is deaf so I wanna learn sign language so I can talk to him." Wow! "We'll go right now." I say, proudly standing up. I hug my little girl and we go to the library.
*a few months later*
Miranda's pov
I sign to Hunter, "My dad said you could sleep over." He looks worried. He signs, "What if your dad thinks I'm weird since I sign and don't talk?" I shake my head and sign, "He won't. He's glad you're coming over. He learned sign language so he could talk to you." Hunter looks shocked. I hug him. "Let's go." I sign and say excited. He smiles. Mom picks us up. We get home and dad fixes us a snack. I sign to him asking if he wants to play video games in my room. He of course does. So we play video games for three hours til dad calls us for dinner.
