Maxon's POV

We have tracked down the signal and turns out that the video signal was completely wrong the first time. No wonder we couldn't find them.

At least now we know for sure where she is, the only problem with that, is that she is in the complete other side of Illea. We are on our way now, and going as fast as we can, but I'm worried it won't be fast enough.

The video of America has been playing on every single screen in the plane. I can't escape it. I have been practically being forced to watching America be cut, beat and hurt in so many ways.

The rebels have put up a countdown on he screen, we have 15 minutes left. Fifteen. And we haven't even landed yet, but we should be in at least the next 5 minutes. I just hope that we make it in time.

--------------------America's POV-------------------

I hurt everywhere. I don't even know what the rebels are doing to me. All I know is I hurt. And the fact that I have 15 minutes left in my life.

I knew Maxon would never come, no matter how much I hoped. I just wish that the last time I saw him wasn't our fight. The pain has become almost unbearable I am gonna pass out soon.

As I drifted away all I could think of was Maxon.

---------------------Maxon's POV--------------------

As soon as we landed I was out the door as fast as a lighting bolt.

America, here I come.

We were at the rebel compound in about 5 minutes. Now we had to get in. A few guards and I snuck around back while the rest stayed in front to create a diversion.

We waited and as soon as we heard gunshots we dropped in through a window. As we hurried down the hallway I couldn't even focus on the fact that I could die if we made a wrong step, all I could think about was America.

Suddenly the guards in front of me stopped short and I almost ran into them. They motioned to a door and immediately I knew what they meant. I nodded and in to the room we charged.

We found a small group of rebels who we got through fairly easily but soon we were into the main part of the room. The first thing I saw brought tears to my eyes.

There was my America. In chains. Pale. Tired.

Then I realized that her eyes were closed and I had a mini heart attack. I ran over and the guards and I got her out of the chains. Her body was cold.

NO!!! I will not allow my America to die.

I rushed out of the room and through tears made it to the plane. As we were taking off I looked down at America.

"Just stay with me, America. I love you. Just a little longer....please."
