Maxon's POV
I took a deep breath and walked in.
"Father?"
"Yes, son?"
"We need to give the diaries and ammo to the rebels. I need America back."
My father chucked. "Very funny Maxon."
I glared at him.
"Wait, your serious. Maxon you can't be serious."
"Well I am. Deal with it."
"WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY?!" My father boomed. Oh no. "MAXON THIS IS NOT OK! A KING SHOULD NOT THINK ABOUT SUCH THINGS! AND YOU DEFINITELY SHOULD NOT BE CHOOSING AMERICA SINGER TO BE OUR NEXT QUEEN!"
"Father, calm down!"
"Maxon I will not calm down. And you know what! Since you seem to be incapable of making decisions I might just have to chose for you. I think I might chose Celeste. She seems quite nice."
Crap.
This isn't good.
I have to fix this.
What do I do?!
"YOU KNOW WHAT FATHER!" I said taking a deep breath. "IT IS MY DECISION NOT YOURS! I AM GOING TO GO TALK TO
MOM ABOUT THIS!!" I stormed out.
I can't believe what I just did.
I just stood up to my father. The man who has pretty much haunted me my whole life! I did it!!
I smiled to myself.
Now to my mother.
America's POV
I hurt.
Everywhere.
The rebels have been kicking me. Cutting me. Basically anything they can think of.
They say that they are trying to make me look awful in case Maxon doesn't give up the diaries. They could persuade him or something.
But it won't work.
At least so hope it won't. The rebels are to dangerous.
Out of no where my cell door opened. I sighed.
Here we go again.
The rebel grabbed my arm.
"Get up."
He brought me to the film room again.
Oh no.
At least now I know Maxon isn't doing what they want.
They handcuffed me to the wall in front of the camera.
Aspen walked up. "Now you best be quiet during this video, or you know what happens." He said sliding the knife across my arms.
That hurt.
I nodded and the lights blared on.
Here we go again.
